Just had a work related Xmas lunch at the Heron on the Ford. I'm happy to say that everyone seemed delighted with the food, service the general ambience. We had drinks for an hour and lunch was served very punctually at 1.00 p.m. I had a …

Attended a private function. Welcoming Christmas decor. Bar staff attentive and efficient. Waiting staff friendly and accommodating. Food very good. My main course could have been hotter but do appreciate there were a large number of guests to get round. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

You will find it hard to get a better place to eat or drink..The ambience is delightful along with the food and staff. Warm fires in the winter months or enjoy peaceful outdoor countryside seating in the summer, with a ford close by for the children to paddle in. Also very dog friendly. 10/10
