First time trying Chinese food.....mouth watering 😋😋😍😍😍

This place is now a Chinese restaurant called Kungfu Kitchen. Under new ownership. Opened 3 months ago (November 2018). We had tea and flapjack and had a chat with the Chinese lady owner. We will come back another time and have a proper meal. She is determined to serve top quality food, typical of North China. So it may be a bit different from the average Chinese restaurant.

Although it's changed names over the years I have been a regular for over a decade. The breakfast is always superb and well cooked, and parking is never an issue. Highly recommend in Reading, especially when visiting the University which is conveniently situated opposite.

Been in here a few times the past couple of weeks. The past two times we've been here there's been one miserable as hell waitress, who decided to use the contactless on our card without bothering to ask. Today, I would give it a 5 star rating, lovely waitress, didn't grab the card out of our hands to do contactless, and has been really nice and polite.

Top notch. Clean, tasty and very fairly priced. Oh and consistent quality too, very important for a cafe.
