It's always lovely to go down to The Hatch Gate, the staff there are very welcoming and friendly - you get a sense of community from the atmosphere. They have regular live music playing which is a treat to watch.
The Hatch Gate has is the best curry house in Burghfield and surrounding area. It's worth traveling to if you're not a local, you won't be disappointed.

Thoroughly recommend the Hatch Gate for a party.
We had 100 guests for our anniversary party and Buddy made the whole experience extremely easy and seamless..
Staff were attentive and friendly and the Indian buffet was lovely— so many great comments from our guests…
Whatever you want, Buddy says no problem and makes it happen.. we told him with a days notice that our son’s band wanted to play a set— no problem we do that all the time..
Pub was still open for other guests and regulars but that was no problem, they were extremely friendly and respectful.
Extremely fair price for the quantity of service..

Attended a party here. Food was pre ordered, was very nice. Didn't see full menu.
£3.50 for a pint of draft diet coke, a bit steep.

We had a buffet meal for 45 at the Hatchgate Inn to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The whole process was made easy by the owner who was accommodating to all of our requests, the staff were helpful and friendly and just about every guest got back to me to say how delicious the food was. The bar was well stocked and the drinks flowed all night. I would highly recommend. Thank you to all of you 🙂
