Tried for our first time and it was amazing. We all said its the best fish and chips we have ever had. It wasn't greasy and everything was cooked perfectly.
The girls were lovely and friendly and the prices were great.

...easily best chippy around. fish portions huge, batter crispy, not too greasy, nice chips, nice fish cake and decent curry sauce - not that horrible cheap stuff with chunks of toxic waste in that you unfortunately encounter more and more these days in the less reputable pedlars of the genre. they also bring your order out to you as well when you are waiting outside :-)

Food was mostly excellent! Fish was delicious and crispy, the chips were on point! My only problem was the burger! Tastes very cheap and has a very salty mushy texture which was a real let down!

Best chip shop I've tried in Tilehurst. The food is excellent quality and superbly cooked - not too greasy or overdone. Portion sizes are very generous. And prices are on par with other chip shops in the area. There's a wide selection of options on the menu as well as portions priced and sized for seniors. There's also a seating/dining area and parking immediately adjacent in the Asda carpark at Meadway Precinct. Staff are lovely, and service is very quick. Highly recommended.

I have yet to try any of the features. I passed by on the way to Asda and got a really friendly smile from the girl behind the counter. This is my reason for the rating and I plan to return one evening as a result.

One of the best chippy in town. Their batter is crispy and fishes are fresh. We often order large cod with medium chips from here when we need quick and guaranteed delicious meal.
