The drinks are great and well priced. Really like the service and everyone is so friendly and welcoming. They really do their jobs well and the DJ is really great. He carries his crowd along and plays all types of music. As a lady, I also feel very safe here because there’s literally security everywhere so I’m sure no one is going to move funny.

Great place for a drink with mates while watching the sport. The food menu has lots of burgers and nachos on there, we ordered some burgers which were ok but the chips could have done with a few more minutes in the fryer.

Visited a few weeks ago for my birthday with my work friends. We were served by Sammie who was fantastic! She made us all feel welcome and the service was quick. Very smiley. All my work friends said how friendly she was. :)

In my young age I did some DJ work and when I arrive in this place for the first time I feel in love, the music, the staff, the vibes are all in this amazing place, I recommend 200% I had told all my friends about this place, if you are in Reading it’s a must for a visit.

Love love love walkabout! Always a great atmosphere in there whether it’s weekends or on a wednesday when they do karaoke. All staff are amazing especially jay, always up for a chat and he always makes you feel welcome. Jays a great person to be on the team. and the service is incredibly fast, was quite shocked to be honest. always a great night out!

Went out clubbing and honestly had a blast! Great atmosphere, nice security guards and understanding staff. Especially, Jay. He made a great effort of making sure I was okay through the night, and making sure I had a laugh even while doing his job. Absolute star!

We went there with friends to watch the CL finals. Brill atmosphere and great variety of drinks and food. Service was a tad slow but the place and the number of screens and group made up for that. Highly recommended for a fun night out and sports bar

Amazing place when you’re looking for a fun night out. I especially want to accent on the karaoke nights every Wednesday cause they’re the best experience ever. I’ll also mention Emily who always provides quick friendly service. Love coming here, you should definitely stop by, too. Khadija is another brilliant staff member (security) I’d like to mention as she can always make you feel safe during your night out.

Honestly had the best night here whilst visiting Reading for work event. We were throughly looked after by the lovely Sammy. Very attentive to our colleagues as we ordered an eclectic mix of drinks with no grudge that it may have taken her a little longer. Made our experience a lot easier thank you!!!

Walkabout is a staple in reading, from the array of tvs for every and all sporting events, to the delicious food served by the kitchen team right through to the best nightclubbing experience every Friday and Saturday night. It truly is the place to be on the weekend and the long but fast moving queues prove that! The music is guaranteed to get you moving and the friendly bar staff are always on hand to help when getting your round in! The security are great and able to assist for a number of queries. Cannot fault this place one bit.
