Outstanding and very authentic food!!
I have lived in Thailand and it is generally very difficult to find authentic flavours overseas… ThaiGrr! is really authentic! The level of spiciness is on the mild side, but you can ask to go the extra Thai mile!
Thai tea is REAL! Not made from instant, as many other places do… I will return for sure!

Fantastic fried chicken legs! Super crisp skin - don’t forget the crispy tasty skin stick to the end of bone!
Best of all, not an oily fry dish and no under skin fat as well!
I’m a big fan of Tom Yum soup, so I came here to try theirs, and I was very impressed! It’s packed full of flavours, it has good quality ingredients and it is just the right amount of spicy, perfect on a wet and cold January evening. I will go again for sure.
What a hidden gem in Reading! After reading all the reviews I’ve decided to give it a try and I’m so very impressed with the friendly service and the authenticity of Thai food here. There are so many choices on the menu and some daily specials too aside from the ready cooked dishes from the counter. Prices are reasonable, portions are good. The shop is located outside the mall on the alley. You must try this place and I’ll definitely return. 😍
This is the best Thai restaurant we have ever tried! There are so many dishes that you wouldn't usually find outside of Thailand. We have ordered many times as well as dined in and every time the food was delicious. The service is great, the owner is always attentive, polite, and very helpful with recommendations. This is one of our favourite place in Reading and we are on a mission to try every single dish!

From the outside ThaiGrr! looks like just another Wasabi or Kokoro, but the taste and the attention to care is something else entirely. They have their ready-to-eat curries and stews in hot basins, my favourite being the authentic moo pad prik (pork belly stir fried in red chilli paste), but really the stars of the show are their made-to-order specials like their kor moo yang (grilled pork neck), a dish that I had not yet found outside of Thailand.
At normal restaurant prices, it's not cheap for the bare surroundings, but what's lacking in decor is more than made up for by the flavours and service. Their khao kha moo (stewed pork leg) comes with beautifully fatty, fall-apart-in-your-mouth skin. Both their fried chicken and crispy squid come fresh and hot, and if you manage to catch their summer special dessert of mango sticky rice then count yourself lucky.
What a fantastic and daring new addition to Reading, I hope they do well and continue to churn out courageous new specials to their menu! :)
1st time at Thaigrr and it won’t be the last. Delicious, fresh tasting Thai food. Don’t be fooled into thinking it is ‘just’ a take-away. Would be happy with that quality in any restaurant. Brilliant value.

Just had some great food from here this lunchtime. Food is always first class and service is fantastic. Just seen the review from the last person we must have been at 2 different restaurants, it seems she's the type of person whom is after free food. Need concentrate on cleaning her nails before commenting on others ha. Anyway its great, I highly recommend.
One of my favorite Thai restaurant in Reading. It's located in front of Queens Court. Thai dish is really authentic, especially Khao kaa moo(my favorite) ,and the spicy sauce that comes with this dish. Delicious, Kind staff, and clean table !
Had the fried sea bass with spicy sauce and stir fired vegetables with rice. Generous portions and shared with two for 30 quid. A delight to the sense of taste! Will be back again when in Reading.
