The Enchanted Tea Rooms

I gave my mum an afternoon tea for two voucher for the Queen of Herts to celebrate her birthday. Andrea was really welcoming and accommodating - reserving a parking spot as one party member was disabled. The afternoon tea was excellent, the scones being particularly delicious. Staff were warm and friendly and the whole experience was really positive. There are a range of vouchers available and they make excellent gifts.

Just lovely! I have been to this tea rooms personally and in my professional role as well. The teas are fabulous, the events are varied and beautiful but what makes this place a real gem is the service! The lady who runs the tea rooms is so accommodating and welcoming to everyone who walks through the door. In my professional role I work with vulnerable people and she has always made my clients feel so comfortable, from having an open smile to giving them a private space to speak. Beautiful quirky tea room. It's very traditional looking inside, and it's bigger than it looks. Afternoon tea requires 24 hours' notice and looks fabulous. The products are all fresh and homemade, which makes that little bit more special. Visited for lunch with my mum, who was post-op, and they were so accommodating and friendly. The cakes, etc, looked lovely and very tempting. We had the egg sandwich, which tasted very fresh and was beautifully presented. The service was very friendly and inviting. We will definitely visit again and also recommend.

We had a lovely afternoon tea on Sunday. We received a very warm and friendly welcome, the service was amazing and the tea itself was delicious!! We had a variety of sandwiches, scones with jam and cream and a selection of delicious cakes. My wife’s gluten free and this was catered for extremely well. She has said that the scone was probably one of the best that she had ever had. Highly recommended. We will be back very soon. Thank you Andrea and team x

Such a beautiful and perfect place! The theme is Alice in Wonderland and the vibe was just magical and cosy at the same time. The food and drinks were delicious. Service was top notch and everyone was so friendly. Me and my friends were so pleased with everything. Would definitely come back. Thank you so much to Andrea and her team.

Such a lovely tea room, highly recommend! Had cream tea with fruit scones and banoffee black and spiced blueberry pie tea, the scones were warm and tasty and the teas were lovely. Andrea and the team were so friendly and made us feel so welcome. There is also onsite parking which is very handy, I cant wait to return in future and next time maybe go for the full afternoon tea or attend the jazz or comedy events!

We hired out the private room upstairs for my mums 60th birthday afternoon tea celebrations. Everything was perfect! From the moment I started planning via email with Andrea, she couldn’t have done enough to make the day exactly as we wanted it. On the day the service and the food were both amazing, especially the chocolate cake! I would recommend a visit to Queen of Herts for an event or just a yummy afternoon treat.

We had a lovely afternoon tea here for 4 ladies. My auntie is lactose intolerant and she was really happy to be able to have tea with soya milk. Everything was very yummy and my mum even tried smoked salmon for the 1st time and now you’ve converted her to eat it again (she’s going to buy some when she next goes shopping!). Parking was so convenient. Andrea and her team were fab and so friendly and helpful. We will be back :)

Would highly recommend the champagne afternoon tea, at this quaint tearoom on the Redbourn High Street, We had a very warm welcome from Andrea, the owner. Attentive service, allergies catered for, Alice in wonderland teapots & gorgeous china cups to drink your chosen tea from an extensive list… and if you can’t quite manage to finish the wonderful selection of cakes, Andrea will provide boxes to take these home to enjoy later. This little gem, offers afternoon teas and so much more, worth a visit!

We had a gorgeous afternoon Curiositea here. Everything tasted beautiful and the range of teas was impressive. A quirky little venue that could be immersed in the theme with some additional touches, but this didn't take away from the food nor the superb hosting of the manager and her team! We will be back!!
