My husband and I called on the way home to Mansfield after seeing Al Murray in St Albans . We got seated straight away the waitress Sarah was lovely and a credit to the pub quick service and food was piping hot and very delicious atmosphere …

Good place to stop for a bite and a drink. The food is always good. Big car park. Ideal for family groups, get togethers or Sunday lunch. What is good enough for Matt Damon is good enough for me (I believe he dropped into the pub one day).
We had a very nice Sunday roast, all options we had pork loin, beef rump and beef rib were delicious. The kids portion was great also all around a very nice Sunday meal on a late autumn day.
Just had possibly the best xmas dinner I've ever had. Absolutely scrumpy. Staff were lovely too. Definitely recommend
