Tonight my husband and I decided to try the Mix It Up Meals, and we were not disappointed. Hubby had a delicious 28 day matured rump steak, cooked to perfection he said!! He chose the fries and the fresh garden salad, which he said was really lovely, and was served with a vinaigrette dressing. I had the gammon, and was really surprised to be given 3 gammon steaks, 2 of which I brought home with me for Hubby's breakfast!! I had the Mexican Pasta Salad, which was spiced to perfection ( I would order this as a main course next time we come for lunch. The sweet potato fries were delicious, and a huge portion!! Needless to say, we changed our mind about ordering dessert this evening, as the Mix It Up Meals were huge, and very filling!!
All the staff at Hungry Horse go the extra mile, and all are extremely friendly and courteous!!
We will be visiting again very soon!!

Me and my daughter loved the desserts especially The ultimate Big candymania. You make the best food ever! The staff were very friendly and they kindly took our plates away when we were done. I hope to come back to this restaurant soon! Well done
Came here twice this week good car parking, indoor and outdoor play areas, nice cosy decor, TVs showing sport plus kids TV in some seating areas and big outdoor beer garden what is there not to like! Good service aswel considering a couple of staff looked like they didn't know what day it was! Loved the place!Only downside was price of some of the drinks but would definitely recommend tho!
Despiste visiting during a very busy time Steve and the staff were very attentive, cheerful and professional. Food was top notch at such a great price for a family of 5. Thank you! I'll surely visit again
My husband and I eat here regularly, including this evening, and have never been disappointed. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The portions are very filling - no room for pudding tonight 😖! And there's usually some sort of offer on, which is fab!
My family and I are in the area for a wedding. Following a day of driving called in for an evening meal. Fantastic food and service. No complaints at all. Highly recommend and will be returning for the breakfast menu. Excellent valve for money too.
Typical Greene King owned, under the Hungry Horse wing. Very large establishment that has a very extensive, well priced menu, and a huge choice of beers and lagers on draught. There are daily menu deals which can save you money, portions are average, or under. Does get busy at times, advisable to book, but not necessary.
A delicious meal with friends. Good value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. They worked hard in a busy service. Lauren and Will deserve a medal!
Booked my sons 1st birthday and it couldn't have been better than I ever expected! Went into the wacky play area first and everyone enjoyed themselves staff super friendly, we then went for a meal after and everyone got there food it perfect time and it was all delicious 10/10 will be returning again!
Excellent service and a really nice atmosphere, Will at the bar is a real gem to the place me and family come here regularly as there is soft play for the children to use while the adults enjoy our meals and the manager is a star top marks as always 5 stars
