Came from whitby for a day out and this was the first chip shop we walked past so we popped on.

Called in yesterday afternoon for a bite to eat. Just had a fish with mushy peas. Cooked fresh, staff friendly and helpful. Cod was delicious and the batter probably the best I've had, crispy and tasty not soggy at all. Fantastic.

Decided on fish cake and chips instead of ice cream as it was a cold windy day. Chips were great and fishcake lovely and hot and mushy! Service was very cheery.

I was visiting Redcar all the way from Australia, chasing up some family history. Obviously had to see the beach front and grab a bite to eat while here. Spotted this chippy and was not disappointed. Very friendly service with a smile, great prices and even better fish and chips! Would definitely recommend and hope to back soon myself!

Saw the better reviews for this chippy so decided to walk an extra 100 meters from where the nearest chippy is to the long stay car park. Well worth it. £6 for a large F & C's, supper fresh and not too greasy either. No queue unlike the one we walked past. Highly recommended from a fussy fish n chips eater.
