Redditch Beefeater

Saturday early evening went for dinner.. been a while since going to this restaurant. The menu had changed a bit, no more bottomless chips/ fries and odd small portions of corn on the cobb. BUT, the food was overall great and as we used a voucher, it was very well priced. To make the evening even more splendid, we had an excellent waitress, Charlie Robinson. She was helpful, friendly, and engaging with confidence beyond her years. I hope the company supports her as she will go far in any environment will her work ethic and attitude.

Food was ok, value for money. Cocktails were lovely. A little bit nosey but it was busy. I would go back but in no rush. They have set prices for meals, you can get 3 courses for under £ 20 pounds. And 2 courses for under 17 pound. Cocktails 2 for £20. Pluss my friend had 33% off food bill only, this did not include drinks.

Food is good, just not great. The eating area is clean, just not a great lover of booth tables. There was an 90 year old and a person with a leg injury, when ask if they had a table free, no effort was made to look. Would not normally visit but used a discount voucher that made the usually high prices tolerable.

Our party of 3 did a walk in on Thursday 5th Oct. and were very impressed. It was very busy and we were greeted by our waitress, Jen, who was very friendly and polite. We had a good table and drinks order was taken quickly. Food order was taken on delivery of drinks and was served in a very timely manner. Jen made sure we had everything we needed and ensured we were OK for drinks. The food was superb and desserts were also taken. The food quality and value was excellent. Icing on the cake was the "jolly" waitress. 😄. Well done.

Purchased a meal deal as part of the stay in the Premier Inn, everything was open to have with small surcharges on the expensive meals. Unlimited Coca-Cola, plus we added on a desert for £3. Clean and tidy, fast service. All the staff were helpful and friendly especially our waitress, Cara. Outstanding, thank you!! She was chatty, attentive and prompt, definitely made our visit more pleasurable and enjoyable. We'd definitely come again if in the area.

I was joined by my family for dinner as we usually do on a Sunday evening at The Beefeater, Redditch North. I usually select the same options each week; pulled Beef Nachos, Sirloin Steak and Cheesecake, but, this week, I decided to choose something else from the menu. 🤔 I selected the Prawn Cocktail starter, the Steak Medley with Cheesey Skinny Fries and extra Onion Rings main and the Caramel Buttons Popcorn Sundae dessert. 😋 Our waiter for the evening; Corinne, was VERY attentive, as usual and was helpful, patient and diligent in taking our order despite one guest being hard of hearing, one being a fussy eater, one being easily confused and one with a food allergy. I always enjoy having dinner at The Beefeater and the last meal was up to the usual high standards of quality and presentation and the service was excellent.🥰 If I had to be REALLY picky; the background music was a little loud meaning everyone in the restaurant was speaking a little more loudly (brain damage means I have no filter) and I chose to have the Steaks well cooked (occasionally Medium looks more Rare) but they were a little dry when the Steak is usually moist. Perhaps, next week, I'll ask for my Steak to be cooked Medium-Well. 🤔

Me and my partner have just left and we can honestly say one of the best simple dining experiences we’ve had to date. The food was amazing but the lady who was serving us (she had pinky blonde hair) made the experience what it was. We will deffo be returning and hopefully she’s working again. Thankyou
