Meaty fish đ light batter, good chips, and amazing Mushy Pea Fritters, you need to try them if you haven't already!
Ordered via the app, arrived, and a friendly team member brought my order to my car, which was very easy.

Efficient online collection via the app and the food was ready on time with a member of staff bringing it to your vehicle. The food wasnât the worse Iâve hard but surely wasnât the best. I had high hopes based on the location (being around Cornwall) and some of the reviews. The fish tasted a bit rubbery in places and the app never gave the option to add salt and vinegar on the chips, just the fish which was a little unusual.

As weekly regulars (which speaks for itself) we can highly recommend Morrishs. The food is delicious, and the customer service cannot be faulted. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Staff are friendly and accommodating - especially Gemma who is amazing!

Been tonight with our dogs, couldn't have asked for friendlier staff, really made us and our dogs welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Food was beautiful, portions very good and the raspberry milkshake a must. Will definitely be coming again thank you.

Ordered 2 jumbo sausage, large chips, peas and curry, for myself and my uncle. I ordered it online for collection 17.15 - 17.20, and entered my car regestration, as they bring it out to you when they see you arrive. I arrived a couple of mins. early, and bang on 17.15, a young lady came over with my order. Superb service, lovely food, can't recommend highly enough.

We are locals who visit every Friday and wouldnât go anywhere else for fish and chips, in fact we drive from Helston. Food is always to a high standard and service is first class and friendly.

Love Morrishs, always come down on holiday and have their fish and chips as itâs honestly one of Cornwallâs best fish and chip restaurant. They do take way too if you canât dine in.

I rang and paid on the phone to pick it up, when I got there no one knew where my order was so I had a long wait, they were very busy I am guessing taking on too many orders, staff looked ran off their feet. The food was amazing, 5 stars for food only

I visited your restaurant yesterday around 6.15pm and was very dissapointed as we were not greeted with a welcome we were told to "sit over there" and find our own table. When our food arrived my brother burned his hand as he was not told plate was hot. the food was poor fish was chewy. This was supposed to be a birthday meal but we did not enjoy it or stay for dessert. I have visited on several occasions in the past and have had any issues

Went to get a takeaway this evening. The guy serving didnât even acknowledge me while he was preparing other meals and I was waiting over 5 minutes. Another lady came hovering around and still no glance over at me and certainly no smile from anyone there. Ordered jumbo sausage and cheesy chips which was a small portion with hardly any cheese at the cost of ÂŁ4.60 plus the sausage was buried under the chips to bulk out the look of it. Overall I am disappointed and will not be returning. The staff need to cheer up or go and find a job they are happy in which perhaps doesnât involve dealing with customers!

For OK but asked for ketchup on my chicken burger, they charged me .70 pence for a stupid pot of ketchup. Silly things like that cost you a one star. Rip off.

Went for a small cod and chips with a large cod and small chips, the small cod was tiny, the large could have come from an eel it was so thin, for 16 pounds a real disappointment

We last ate here 20ish years ago and enjoyed the food. Having moved back down to Cornwall at the beginning of the year and settling near Redruth we called in today after a trip down West to Levant tin mine, once again very enjoyable.
I don't understand the reviews on Trip Advisor stating slow service and unhappy/rude staff!! Staff very friendly, service fast, food fresh, hot, tasty and big portion size.
Well worth the visit and shall return. Thank you

Think it's really bad to call someone bk to the counter admit to messing up a order then demand more money cause the staff don't know the menu prices. Really poor customer service , if it wasn't for having hungry kids in car after a football match I would of asked for refund and walked out.

Went to get a takeaway this evening that I ordered online for a pick up time. When I arrived at my pick up time was left waiting for 25 minutes without even being acknowledged. When I asked a member of staff what was happening I was seen as a problem! I Wonât be returning because of the Childish staff and lack of adult Managment. We Will be going to lanner fish and chip shop next time !

Great food, unfortunately had to find a staff member to be seated as there was no one around, ordered the food but when I asked for a bottle of flat vimto I was told you can only purchase that from the takeaway area not the restaurant, I replied with ok Iâll go and purchase from the takeaway and bring it in for my daughter to drink to be told this also was not allowed??? When I went to pay I was then offered to purchase the drink (while in the restaurant not in the takeaway area) to take with me đĄ

Ordered a takeaway online this evening. We were left waiting 25 minutes without any acknowledgement from the staff. My husband actually had to get a staff members attention and tell her that we had ordered online for 25 minutes ago. There needs to be someone in management watching the staff. They are not professional, stand around talking, laugh at themselves when they make a mistake. They need to grow up and do their job properly. We won't be returning again. Best off going to Lanner!

Took my mum over last night for a celebration meal, total disaster, found a table and waited over 20 minutes , noone bothered to come over and serve us, so ended up walking out..Looking around the round , so many tables waiitng for over 30 minutes and still no food..
So dissapointing as have been on may occasions, always telling people how great this place is..

After telling my partner about this for a long time, I finally got the chance to take him. Staff were polite and cheerful, the food was really good. Worth the long wait to show him! The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because there was plastic forks available, rather than wooden.
