We last ate here 20ish years ago and enjoyed the food. Having moved back down to Cornwall at the beginning of the year and settling near Redruth we called in today after a trip down West to Levant tin mine, once again very enjoyable.
I don't understand the reviews on Trip Advisor stating slow service and unhappy/rude staff!! Staff very friendly, service fast, food fresh, hot, tasty and big portion size.

When stopping in Caddys Corner, we use Morrishs and have never been disappointed.
Meaty fish 🐟 light batter, good chips, and amazing Mushy Pea Fritters, you need to try them if you haven't already!
Ordered via the app, arrived, and a friendly team member brought my order to my car, which was very easy.

Efficient online collection via the app and the food was ready on time with a member of staff bringing it to your vehicle. The food wasn’t the worse I’ve hard but surely wasn’t the best. I had high hopes based on the location (being around Cornwall) and some of the reviews. The fish tasted a bit rubbery in places and the app never gave the option to add salt and vinegar on the chips, just the fish which was a little unusual.
As weekly regulars (which speaks for itself) we can highly recommend Morrishs. The food is delicious, and the customer service cannot be faulted. The restaurant is clean and inviting. Staff are friendly and accommodating - especially Gemma who is amazing!
Always enjoy visits here. Staff welcoming but we waited a long time for our orders to be taken. Food arrived in good time and was well cooked and presented.
We had a lovely fish lunch today and it was delicious! The batter on the fish was lovely, really tasty. A very friendly waitress served us. Good value for money as well. We will be back soon!
Been tonight with our dogs, couldn't have asked for friendlier staff, really made us and our dogs welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Food was beautiful, portions very good and the raspberry milkshake a must. Will definitely be coming again thank you.
Ordered 2 jumbo sausage, large chips, peas and curry, for myself and my uncle. I ordered it online for collection 17.15 - 17.20, and entered my car regestration, as they bring it out to you when they see you arrive. I arrived a couple of mins. early, and bang on 17.15, a young lady came over with my order. Superb service, lovely food, can't recommend highly enough.
We are locals who visit every Friday and wouldn’t go anywhere else for fish and chips, in fact we drive from Helston. Food is always to a high standard and service is first class and friendly.
