Just got home from a lovely afternoon tea here with my partner and our 3 year old. They very kindly accommodated our requests for sandwiches, which my partner and daughter absolutely loved. The sandwiches were made freshly with plenty of filling, and tasted delicious! The scones, clotted cream in abundance and strawberry jam went down a treat. The sweet pastries were incredibly cute and tasty together with the fresh strawberries, a lovely touch. The slices (Slabs) of cakes and cheesecake (Vanilla with biscoff crumb and caramel sauce), were unexpected, and devine! The unlimited tea to wash it all down was yummy, even enjoyed by my 3 year old, having 3 half cups herself! The crockery and ambience with dated music at the perfect volume top the entire experience off perfectly. We would highly recommend the afternoon tea here, and will definitely be back! Thank for you for making my daughter's first afternoon tea a wonderful and very memorable experience.

Went with a large group for a family birthday. The food was delicious, cakes and scones were so light and fluffy. The customer service was top notch and very friendly and any request was no trouble. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Evie's has a great selection of tea, coffee and cakes. I chose the Victoria sponge and it was one of the best I have had. The lunch menu looked delicious and I will be back to check it out. The service was excellent .

We had breakfast here. It is a nice friendly place but I was slightly disappointed that the breads were very average. There was no sourdough bread, and my bagel was small and inadequate for my two poached eggs. I hope they will introduce superior quality breads for their brunches. I recommend it generally as it is a good place to go.

Lovely place, would highly recommend! Had afternoon tea for 3 and were utterly stuffed with tasty sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. Staff were attentive and friendly, and very accommodating when I forgot that my guests couldn’t eat the smoked salmon due to pregnancy; didn’t even register when they checked about food allergies when I booked! Will be coming back.

Great place to go for afternoon tea! My friend and I were 45 minutes early for our table and they still accommodated us. Sandwiches were fresh and really tasty, cakes were huge and yummy. They let us take the rest home in a doggy bag, there was so much we couldn’t eat it all. Refills of tea and it was loose leaf. Would definitely recommend and return!

We held a baby shower for 10 at Evie’s. Fabulous afternoon tea. It was so well catered for. Lots of delicious sandwiches and cakes. Pescatarians and vegans catered for. Lashings of tea/coffee. Staff are lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. We filled lots of takeaway cake boxes as we couldn’t eat it all! Tastefully decorated tearoom with lots of character - beautiful china used. Can thoroughly recommend Evie’s.

Beautifully styled tea room with the most delicious selection of sandwiches and cakes for Afternoon tea. Really first class. Incredibly generous portions too, which meant we needed a take away box, which the owner provided. Great value for money, we’ll be back!

Visited with my two young daughters and was welcomed and helped with getting a high chair. We had two childrens sandwiches with pom bears and fruit shoot plus a pot of tea and some delicious ice cream. A great experience, the surroundings inside are lovely, very friendly staff and excellent service.
