Wow, best Chinese food we have had from Retford! Amazing food - we had a takeaway. Spent £72 so had a few dishes to try - family Chinese night - would thoroughly recommend.

We have only been here three times as we are not local. Some of our party travelled from Suffolk and it was well worth the trip. The food is excellent and the staff were lovely. We think this is the best chinese restaurant we have ever visited.

Just home from a wonderful meal at Fred's. We had been recommended but it exceeded our expectations from the delightful service to the food and the ambiance. Being new to the area we had not yet found our 'regular Chinese restaurant' but we definitely have now! Can't fault it. High standards are so obviously expected from kitchen to front of house and they were met in every aspect from what we could see. Well worth a visit if you're dithering!

Lovely food as usual. All of us were very happy with our choices. Menu is too long for me to cope with so I tend to order the first thing I spot. Tables could do with being a bit bigger as well, but other than that the service was good and everyone else seemed happy too.
