The food is excellent the staff are friendly and attentive the beer is top notch and I will keep returning
So myself and my parter have dined in a Mayfair 1* restaurant, and let me tell you the food is on absolutely NO LEVEL as white houses...I don't know any restaurant in the country that serves a 3kg lobster cooked to absolute perfection, today I had a fish curry that is the best curry Iv ever tasted. The game selection available is an absolute tastebud sensation! If you want high quality food you'd be a fool to go anywhere other than white houses, and let's not forget the service, impeccable. These guys (Jonathan, rachel, james etc) will go above and beyond to ensure that your experience is the best is can possibly be. These amazing people have become more of friends now....my partner is away for 8 weeks at a time working in the army and is only back for a limited three weeks...every time he is home we have AT LEAST 8 nights here. We wouldn't go anywhere else. Massive thank to everything these amazing people do for us. All time favourite restaurant xxx
The food is absolutely incredible!!! Such a wonderful and friendly spot for a meal and drink! The prawns are insanely good. Love this place :)

Under new ownership. You can pop in for drink now, or sit at the bar pre and/or post dining...something you were unable to do during stewardship of the previous owners.
Altogether a much more pleasant experience, and worthy of support from patrons old and new.
Absolutely worth seeking out. Had a fantastic meal for my dads 71st. Food and drink was excellent and the guys looked after us superbly. 100% would recommend. We’ll be back very soon
Had dinner here over the weekend. Food was delicious! Definitely recommend the prawns. Sunday roast was fantastic. Ed and Jane are wonderful hosts and make everyone feel at home.

We went to The Whitehouses for a bank holiday lunch yesterday and we would highly recommend it to anyone appreciates exceptionally good food. The owners are very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The atmosphere is inviting, relaxing spacious. If you have not been before i would encourage you to try the food.
