The Mirchi - Rhayader - Photo album

Good quality food and at a good price, what’s not to like? There was heavy rain, staying at the excellent Bear hotel next door though distance was not a problem, we would have gladly walked miles for this. The variety of dishes in a relatively small town was exceptional.
We booked ahead and were warmly greeted by Ali. The restaurant was nicely decorated and all facilities were clean. The wait for food was a little longer than usual, though understandable as only two staff were serving and cooking. The food was certainly worth the wait! All special requests were cate
Food here was very tasty indeed. It came quite quickly after we ordered but the staff were run off their feet so the bill took a while to come. Can't fault the food though it was lovely.
What a find this was! Great Indian food with really pleasant and friendly staff. The taste is really authentic and not too heavy or spicy, even our kids wanted to go back, every night! If you want somewhere with great tasting food and lovely surroundings at sensible restaurant prices, try The Mirc
Ok. We live in the Midlands where there are thousands of Indian restaurants. And we usually eat out in them once or twice a week. We know a bit about Asian cuisine! Every time we visit Rhayader we go to the Mirchi. And every time we eat there we say the same thing. It is the best Asian food we have
Thank you so much for your hospitality last night. My wife and I had a fabulous meal on our last night in Rhayader. If you go, have the duck. Delicious. We chatted with the waiter about Bangladesh as my wife's family originally heralded from the same place. Really good food, superb service, nice a
My wife and l had a great meal here. The staff were very helpful and we really enjoyed the food. Would not hesitate to return.
Yummilicious and generous dishes. Waiters were super friendly and open for a chat. We were partially overwhelmed with the menu, so we asked for a recommendation and were very happy with the resulting choice. Great restaurant and absolutely fair prices.
Absolutely gorgeous food, all fresh ingredients with a delicious taste and you leave with a light feeling instead of the normal heavy one when you eat curry. Love it love it. Highly recommended.
Great food at a good price (paid around £50 for a 2 course meal and drinks for family of 4). Best curry we've had in a while I (we went back for a second visit during our break) Staff very friendly too.
Really great food and reasonably priced. Nice surroundings and friendly service. Some dishes finished at the table for a bit of extra theatre. Would definitely recommend
Great food, a group of 6 all agreed it was the best curry they had ever had. This place serves the entire village so be patient it's well worth the wait!
One of the best currys I've had, (no exaggeration). No one can touch them for a radius of 80 miles. You would have to travel to Birmingham or Solihull to get a curry as good and I only know of one or two restaurants that are up to this standard.
One of the best Indian restaurant's I've ever been to. Fantastic food, staff and service. Prices were very reasonable also.
We were visiting Rhayader from Leicester. In Leicester we really know our curries. Take it from me, the food here is really good. But they need the local trade, not just the visitors. People of Rhayader - use it or lose it!
Both me and my wife had different meals and both were fantastic, reminded me of curries we used to get years ago when they were cooked by a chef who knew exactly how to use spices and ingredients.very reasonably priced and service was great.Would definitely recommend.
Amazing place, have eaten in Asia and that was a true Asian experience here in Wales. Great value for money and beautiful inside, cannot praise it enough. Staff 1st class
Had a cracking curry here last week - maybe the best ever! 6 of us all had different dishes and each was entirely unique. Can't fault the service!
The Llandrindod area is not known for its food, but this little hidden gem is definitely an exception to the rule. Very well prepared Indian food, as good as you will find in any city, at a reasonable price
