Great restaurant. About 10 of us from the motorbike club came here Saturday night as nowhere in Rhayader seems to be able to cope with a big table on a weekend evening. Vlad looked after us real well, made us feel vey welcome. The food came out pretty quick and was spot on. Everyone enjoyed the food and the ambiance - we had a great evening there. Highly recommended, both for a decent curry and especially for big groups.

Despite some previous reviews we ordered takeaway from here.
I have to say everything was faultless very flavoursome and hot when we collected it… would definitely recommend going here… I had a Chicken Dansak it was spot on. I used to work in a curry house for 4 years so I’d like the think I know my curry’s :)
Also the Bhajis and Mint sauce were phenomenal!

Apprehensive re 1* rating but barmaid in local pub praised the good food so we gave it a go. No problems at all. Lovely food. Ample portions. Excellent service. Don't worry - it's delicious.

A completely new menu, with lots of the old ones too. There are far too many to name, so you'll just have to go and try the place out. Indian cuisine, as you'd expect from a well liked restaurant.

Decided to go to the Spice Hut for our 30th Anniversary and so glad we did. The food was superb from starter of onion bhaji to vegetable bhuna and nan. The service was excellent and Vlad looked after us impeccably. Will definitely go again.

My husband and I shared the most wonderful meal this evening in The Spice Hut. We had starters and main courses. It was all freshly cooked and extremely tasty. Our waiter was Vlad, he was attentive and charming. It was a pleasure talking with him. We will soon be back and can highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

We had a takeaway food was really good. Portions were large especially the rice there was way to much, 1 between 2 would of been better for us

Great curry house. Pickle tray (especially their "red sauce") is soooo good. Nicest peshwari nan I've had in a long time and same can be said for their butter chicken(asked them to make it 2 chillis strength instead of 1 and it was perfect). Great staff and reasonably priced as well. Definitely be back next time we're in Rhayader.
