Step back in time to an immaculate, warm and friendly good old tradition ice cream parlour. As a family, I have been coming here for 40 years. I have not found anywhere in the world that can touch the vanilla ice cream. Fantastic prices and ultimately the best place. 10/10

It's very rewarding to step into Sidoli's Cafe, & know you are being served by a third generation member of a very proud family whose business has been in Rhyl for over 110 years.

Visited this place on a very cold & grim day in May while waiting to go to another town. Was really looking forward to trying out this historic place and overall was happy with my experience. We ordered a cup of coffee and Ovaltine. The lady who works there was happy to chat and talk about the history of the café and town. The café serves basic drinks (which is not a criticism) and some cakes. Also ice cream is available, although we haven't tried that. If you're looking for a Starbucks/Costa type of place then this is not for you. The feeling of the café somewhat resembled Bar Italia in London to me (although nowhere near as busy) and Bar Luce in Milan thanks to its interiors that literally haven't been changed since the 50s (look at those pink walls and sconces!). Unfortunately, my experience was a bit disappointing as when I tried to take a picture of the beautiful interior (not the lady) for my memories of the place the lady owner wasn't all too happy about it. And while she hasn't said anything directly to me or explained why (other than "I hope it's not for the professional use" - I was taking pictures with my phone, so, of course, not), after that I felt like I was being watched, especially if I happened to touch my phone for any reason. So in the end I felt like I wanted to leave as soon as possible (hence the 4 star rating), even though we did enjoy the drinks. I feel this place would be perfect for scooterists who go for coffees in groups or for cyclists passing by. Overall, it seemed like a good place with amazing prices compared to anywhere else, but with a bit of more XXI century 'social friendly' customer service - it really could become great and THE place to visit when you come to Rhyl (after all it is more than 100 years old). Would definitely give it another go!

Sidolis is wonderful. I hope it never has a change in decor because it is just a wonderful time warp. Note the great staring eyes lights on the wall... The giant model ice cream cone outside and then.... try the yummy home made ice cream inside. A delicious espresso coffee or one of their great but simple sandwiches. Cheese and tomato baps are great.

Sidoli's has always been a joyous part of Rhyl as far back as I can remember from childhood. Their ice cream cones are as delicious now as they've been in the past. There are plenty of comfortable seats at tables inside for families to sit down whilst enjoying an ice cream, tea or coffee. The prices are very affordable and Sidoli's has a friendly atmosphere. Just listening to the old-style cappuccino percolating and catching the sumptuous coffee aromas is a nostalgic joy.
