Links Bar At Rhyl Golf Club

Quite possibly the best reason to visit this town is to play this golf course. From the first tee it looks like a field. Don't be deceived, there's burrows, culverts, grass and sand bunkers. Most of the greens are in very good condition. The sixth is tricky and the eighth may punish you for a good tee shot if you are right of the burn. I can imagine that this would test most golfers in wet and windy conditions

A great little golf course. Only 9 holes but it's a quality course. Nicely groomed but you've got to watch out for the rabbit holes. There's no trees but the features such as the rough and bunkers can present some good challenges. For a short course its surprisingly long and even has a par 5. The course offers plenty of length and space for big hitters to have a proper swing of the club. The club house is nice and has a quiet but friendly atmosphere. The pro shop is well equipped and the pro himself is very knowledgeable. The club has a good junior programme also and youngsters are encouraged to join. Best of all they can join for free!
