The food served at this eatery, is not very nice at all. I visited Rhyl yesterday for the very first time and was looking forward to fish and chips. We came across the Fish and Chip Cabin. The sign stated fresh Fish and Chips order straight away. So I went to the counter and was about to ask for Fish and Chips and the person who was about to serve me let out an almighty cry CHICKEN BURGER , CHICKEN BURGER. Thought great so proceed with ordering Fish and Chips twice. it was less than 5 seconds before the server dumped a takeaway carton loaded with Chips and what looked like a Fish that had been cooked within an inch of its life. No way was the Fish fresh the Chips were definitely frozen Chips. The fish inside the well over cooked batter more like burnt wasn't flakey and white but grey and stodgy. If you want Fish and Chips in Rhyl I would strongly suggest looking else where. Very very poor food from this establishment the most ironic thing about it was the cook behind the counter was wearing a white chef 👩‍🍳 jacket. Me thinks he should it off and swap it to a pinny.

Worst overpriced fish and ships I've ever had. Avoid this place if your after a decent fish and chips. The staff are miserable and on top of that they serve you a poor quality fish and chips not far off what you get in Iceland possibly the Iceland version is better. What a disappointment will definitely put anyone who hasn't tried fish and chips before off for life.

My husband and myself visited this morning at 10.15. I take the owner, an elderly man was helping unload milk. There was a smell of bacon cooking and presumed he was open. My husband politely asked if when he was ready, could we have 2 cups of tea. He said it said not open, didn’t you see the closed sign. It is not very clear, so no, we didn’t see closed sign. There was no need to be so rude. He was grumpy when we visited before and this was the final straw. Will never visit again as we don’t see why we should give him our custom for him to be so rude. Would not recommend. AVOID at all costs

** DO NOT EAT HERE** I visited Rhyl today with my family for a day out at the beach (30 May 2021). Unfortunately this place in the only food place close to the beach. The line as long so i assumed the food was worth queuing for. This couldn't be further from the truth. Several people gave up waiting, i seriously regret not giving up like the rest as the food was shockingly bad. My wait took 1:04 only to be met with one of the most rudest people i have ever seen in a food establishment. The staff had zero customer service and just wanted to take peoples money. The lady in front of me was vastly overcharged for her family of 6. when she mentioned thus she was met with a rude attitude from the lady behind the counter. initially i was going to order fish and chips but after looking into the kitchen i decided not to. They were frying frozen fish that looked like it was from a discount supermarket. As my family had waited long enough i reluctantly ordered chips and gravy. This was a huge mistake, it tasted horrific. Watered down gravy that smelt and tasted off and chips with taste and texture of cardboard. I regret giving this place my hard earned money so decided to warn others. - The queue is long because they are slow and unorganised. NOT because it is a nice place to eat. also there isn't another food place close unless you go into the town. i advise to take your own food or travel the 10 minute walk into town. - Way overpriced. - Cheap food cooked (warmed up) horribly. - Rude staff. - Extremely slow service. This one place alone has put me off going to Rhyl ever again. People deserve better than this depressing fish and chip shop, especially one this close to a busy family beach. The fish Cabin will never get a penny of my money ever again. **AVOID AT ALL COSTS**

Rude man decided what we wanted as a family. He got grumpy because I ordered a small cod. I said you know what if its a problem I'll have a chip bap instead. He then said the fish is cooking now. I said I don't want that as you made a big issue out of it. His reply was then you will have nothing. With my wife and daughter felt like punching the grumpy old git in the face. I just told him his service was disgusting and told him where to stick it

Avoid at all costs, go to greggs across the road instead. The young lad behind the counter is so rude, no customer service skills at all, after being shouted at to stay behind the red line until shouted (despite noone being at the counter) the lady in front of me decided to walk away. I wish I'd done the same, after giving my order he bellowed it back at me, the told me to wait before I paid because the machine was reconnecting, no apology for the wait he just walked off saying he might as well get the drinks. If I was the owner I would sack him, gey all new staff before the business collapses.

Came here for a quick meal before going around the beach. Got some chips and prawns asked for a little bit of lettuce to go with them and was informed I would need to purchase a full salad for an extra £1.50 only wanted a little lettuce. The chips was tasteless asked for some mayonnaise and was informed it would be an extra 10p a sachet. I find this very shocking as the chips was already majorly overpriced. To the owners please don't just think about making money. Happy customers will spend more. And smile next time. Or maybe you will charge me an extra £1
