I'd give 100 stars if I could!! I drove over an hour to visit this highly recommended pub and it did not disappoint. The food is absolutely incredible. The flavours are amazing and everything is cooked to perfection. I had the squid starter, blue cheese burger and scampi side. It was all perfection on a plate! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. A must visit in the south wales valleys. Don't be put off by the location!

On a long drive home from Swansea and decided to take a short detour to visit this pub and wow! We were so happy to have found it thanks to the reviews. Sunday roast was just so tasty- meat was succulent, loads of veg and 3 different types of potatoes along with a Yorkshire pudding and stuffing with extra gravy! They go all out here. Hands down the best pub roast and the house wine was a perfect match for it too! Highly recommend to all travellers 🧳 friendliest staff too - thanks for a great visit!

First time visit but won't be the last. Staff warm and friendly. Food was amazing. Chips out of this world best I've ever tasted. And even desserts were filling. Not an icecream lover but the sundaes were like the main course very filling. Massive thanks to all at the Farmers Arms for a vey pleasant evening
Lovely place only 10 minutes from home. Service was very friendly, staff very kind and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious. The chef, Sarah, came out to each table to ask how everything was, such a lovely, friendly person. 100% will be returning.
We went here on a bit of a whim as we like to try different places to eat and I must say this places didn’t disappoint. Top quality food cooked fresh to order, piping hot and delicious. We’ll definitely be returning, what a little gem and local as well. Bravo Farmers Arms 👏👏👏
Wow wow.. we stumbled upon this diamond in the rough whilst on our way back from a hike up Pen y fam. We were starving with no reservation, walked in hoping they could serve us on a Saturday night. As i walked in, the first thing i noticed was the largest most awesome plate of dirty fries i have ever seen and instantly thought.. jesus.. what is this place?! The bar manager came over to us and realised we were weary travellers needing some good cold beer and lots of food.. after moving things around for a minute they managed to fit us in and I'm so thankful for that. The food was super delicious, home cooked and big portions. The atmosphere was so friendly, welcoming, and warm. The service was absolutely spot on, couldnt have asked for a better experience. I hope to be back one day for the live music and Kareoke night, by all accounts its not to be missed!
All I will say about this pub is, don't judge a book by its cover. What you see on the outside is by far outweighed by what you are served on the inside and by the service you receive from the very pleasant and courteous staff. Definitely a hidden gem, we left very full, very happy and extremely pleased with the whole evening.
