Hollyhock Cafe

I haven't been here in a while, I was last here in 2015 while studying abroad. I was staying at the college around the corner, was broke, and would come here all the time since the university was not friendly for vegan and vegetarian people. This place has absolutely amazing food and, even better - super affordable. I'd come here for breakfast and lunch frequently. Everything on the menu was delicious and you couldn't go wrong. They also served a nice selection of teas to choose from. If you're vegetarian or vegan and in the area I highly recommend checking them out. Even if you're not vegan or vegetarian I'd recommend it. The park they're situated in is quiet and beautiful and also down the road from Richmond Park (also worth visiting).

This cafe is within beautiful gardens. It is a vegan/vegarian promoted place, although i am bit strong either way i was delighted with the selection quality and taste of what was on offer. The staff ate very pleasant and efficient in serving and keeping tables cleared. The scone was good although fluffy, it was fresh and tasted fine. The date and walnut cake wasn't so amazing as it didn't seem to have any wlanits in and the portion size cut was small. The view is amazing and the seayed environment outside is excellent. I would recommend. Choose carefully and enjoy!

This quaint little cafe offers picturesque views and lovely homemade nibbles and hot meals for the perfect picnic in the park. The veranda is stunning in the summer evenings and the atmosphere is very sweet and warm. Perfect spot for a romantic date or day out with little ones. Richmond park is a short walk away and so it can often work as a nice way to wind down from a day of deer watching. Visited in 2019 with my partner and have been going ever since!

It’s a beautiful hidden gem! :) it’s got an absolutely beautiful view over the park and river. Lovely friendly smiles always welcome you! Nice food and as I am vegan, you can find a few nice things on the menu.( not much variety of food though) pastries and cakes are always delicious and fresh. The cafe has a nice vibe in summer and also winter. It is definitely one of my favorite cafes.
