As its name suggests this is a nautical themed pub right down to the names on the loos - Pirates and Mermaids! The decor is traditional, dark wood with some stained glass windows and is on two levels. There are a few TV screens for watching sports. Great selection of beers and spirits. Didn't eat here so can't comment on the food other than what I saw looked good. Bar service is friendly, enthusiastic and efficient.

This is a nice cosy pub. The staff were really welcoming and the service was quick. We ordered fish and chips. The fish was really tasty but the batter was a but soggy. I got a decent portion of chips but my husbands portion was significantly smaller (I'd say 50% less than mine). I'd go back for drinks but probably not for food as it was expensive and there was a disparity in portion sizes.

Had a lovely Saturday evening at the Ship! Daisy and Julia made such an effort and made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was amazing and the girls recommended us delicious drinks. The food was a tad bit disappointing but they made up for it with fantastic service. Loved Daisy’s vibe and Julia brought all the laughs to the table! Even gave us some dog treats for our Alfie. Will definitely come back for drinks and good times!
