The Hope - Richmond-upon-Thames - Photo album

Decided to pop in to The Hope as it has recently reopened as a pub after being a private club for a time. Lovely welcome from the pleasant barman. Really nice ambience about the place with a tasteful, stylish interior. The rear terraced garden is well furnished with comfy sofas and chairs. Definitel
This pub is under new ownership and has just recently reopened. Five stars for the customer service and the atmosphere. The bartenders/ owners greet you with a smile and are very attentive! The place has been refurbished and doesn’t look anything like the pictures in the reviews. It very trendy and
Largest and nicest pub garden in Richmond. Top beers and wine.
I’ve passed this venue many times over the course of time and seen it take a few guises. I recall it being a pub and then more recently a members club. I happened to go last today and it had been renamed to what it had been before the members club and it looked opened to all. I popped there for a p
Great selection of drinks and Pizza was just Real Authentic pizza... Really enjoyed in their garden on the back while you can actually watch the Chef making Pizza righr in front of you! I'll definitely be back for Sud Italia!
Nice pub with very friendly staff, has a huge garden and plenty of space inside, the beer was good as was the food, an interesting Malaysian menu nicely presented and very tasty.
Great selection of beers & spirits. Has a spacious garden out the back to relax in when the sun is out. Would recommend highly, lovely experience. Staff very friendly and accommodating! Planning on coming back to catch some live music!!
Absolutely fantastic since its redecoration under new management. Food is excellent, range of beers is great. I particularly recommend the Meantime Yakima red. Diana and her team are the friendliest and most welcoming you'll find in Richmond. The recent tastefully refurbished rear garden is certainl
Had a very quick drink here and everything was fine. Sat out in the garden in a summer house that protected from the wind. Very pleasant. Didn't stay long enough to do a comprehensive review (and way there are only 4 stars) but nothing negative to report.
Quiet pub just out of the main Richmond town center (5-10 mins from the station). Nice environment, friendly staff. Was an open-mike night on the Friday evening we were there, which was pretty good. Will be coming back. Lost a star for the fruit flies.
Went here last night to watch champions league. Staff were very friendly and accommodating but the highlight for me was the pizza. They have a wood fire pizza in the beer garden area where they make authentic pizzas. The italian chef making these did not speak much english but he was very friendly a
Really nice friendly place.. Quirky and full of surprises. They had pizza ovens in the back garden. A band upstairs and singers in the bar... Was lovely to visit
Keeps undergoing work updates but with the history of the pub it's always worth the visit. The Shaftbury Tavern is located next door and between the two they are busy. MP
Great chilled place, wonderful service, fab entertainment, good selection of drinks, delicious pizza, great atmosphere & outside space! Good for parties, functions and events. Manager very welcoming.
Very welcoming pub with great atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and the live music on weekends is great. Will be returning!
