Went for an impromptu informal lunch and was very pleasantly surprised. Food and service was excellent. If it had been a little warmer the garden would have tempted us.

Stopped here for lunch and had a great meal and service. The fish and chips was excellent with home-made batter and home-made tartare sauce and nicely cooked so that the fish was still moist. The salmon and dill fish cakes were fresh and tasty. There is a nice courtyard garden at the rear to sit in the sun. We’ll above average pub. Recommended.

We went to The New Inn for a father's day Sunday lunch. The food and service were excellent. The beer garden is an oasis on a hot, sunny day. We have been here on a number of occasions - recommended.
