What a hidden little gem. We did not plan to go there but on a family history jaunt around the nearby villages we popped in for a visit. We sat outside on the benches opposite the quaint village green eating generous slices of lemon cake. Other people's food looked amazing too. Lots of cyclists stopped off on their rides around the country lanes and the fact that it is a village shop and cafe made it a community hub. Well worth a pop in if you are in the region.

Upon arriving at this place, as a cyclist , parking bays spot on, was greater with a smile and a hello, I asked the girl behind the counter which I believe her name was Dianne, I asked her for a corned beef and
onion toasties, as I was ready to leave she asked me if I would like fresh water in my water bottles, this girl just went above and beyond, and I thought I would share this place with everyone great stop

A new Pedal head Stop. What a find .Stopped at Eppleby Shop and Tea rooms/Scones were to die for, with a large selection of gorgeous cakes. The Tea and Coffee are made by the delightful Diane, who is front of house and gives incredible friendly service. A pleasure to give 5 Star.
