What an amazing meal this evening. Great attentive staff whom couldn’t help more. Credit to the chef, his Seabass was “the best”meal my other half had ever ate in there. However all food ordered was to a very high standard and the ingredients were clearly fresh. Highly recommend this lovely little pub.

Lovely pub, fantastic food and friendly dog loving staff, oh and the beer's not bad either. Last night the most amazing (Tex Mex) Parmo, tonight a wonderful Beef Nihari Curry, while my wife enjoyed the Scampi and the Tarragon Chicken Supreme respectively. The dog meanwhile highly recommends the fuss and the treat.
Not your average pub grub! Chef is extremely good and it was all lovely.
Lovely little find on the way back from Ellerton lake. Went with my mum and brother. The food was fresh and delicious and very generous portions as you can see from the chicken burgers they ordered. My fish and chips lunch was just the right size, and the fish was light fluffy and the batter thin and crisp, just lovely.
Nothing bad about this place. Just moved around here and made welcome , also dog friendly. Good outside area. If staying around the area call in , you won't be disappointed.
Came to The Farmers as a family for a Sunday roast. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute walked into the pub, none of that “this local pub for local people” nonsense you get in other places! We all had a roast which was brilliant, the veg wasn’t boiled to hell, Yorkshire’s perfect and the gravy was plentiful.
Would absolutely recommend the farmers to vegetarians wanting a roast in the dales!! It’s very rare as a veggie to find a roast in North Yorkshire that feels like it’s been considered (absolutely calling out other pubs in the area here hah!)
A credit to the area and we will all definitely back.
Had a fantastic lunch in this pub garden. Lovely setting overlooking the village green. Friendly staff and brilliant Chef.
Our lunches were Rump Steak and Stilton Salad, Buffalo Mozarella and Roasted Peppers Salad and a Cheese Burger. Delicious!
Decided on a late Sunday Lunch, called ahead and even though they were about to finish cooking, the Landlady squeezed us in.
Starters, Sunday Lunch main and puddings were all really delicious.

Second time we've called in for lunch. Lovely country pub on village green.
Handpulled beer v good. My husband and I both chose the steak and onion ciabatti which came with chips, side salad and lovely coleslaw. We both agreed it was the best we had ever had.
The barmaid also have me a clean bowl with fresh water for our dog.
Absolutely fabulous! Food was outstanding, staff were incredible, and the whole place is immaculately clean. I had an amazing afternoon with old-school friends
