Great location close to the A66, lovely secluded location, Room 1 was spacious with a Super King bed. Very comfortable mattress & pillows. Nice sized bath but no separate shower. Good dinner & breakfast menu choice, all cooked fresh to order. Your evening meal table is automatically reserved for you
We had a lovely few days staying in Barningham and this was the local. Well looked after and very friendly mix of locals and visitors. We had ab evening meal and the Sunday roast while we were there and definitely recommend. Also dog friendly and there are tables outside as well as in when the weath
Visited today with my husband for a Sunday roast after a big weekend of walking. The decor is sublime; a delectable ode to Farrow and Ball. How to decorate a pub to perfection. Great setting. So cosy. Large car park. Music selection great. We’d been walking all day and found this just off the main r
We had a lovely meal here on Saturday night following a big walk locally during the day. The menu was small but well considered, although we both went for fish and chips in the end! The staff were great, the pub really well presented and there was a nice selection of wines and ales available too.
Outstanding pub with rooms. Beautiful setting. Amazing food. Dog friendly!
We booked a table for dinner on our last night of the weeks stay (in a nearby converted barn) The best food of the week ! The fish and chips were excellent as were the steaks. The interior is very tasteful and relaxed with a real fire. Service is excellent. Highly recommended !
Good service, nice beer (Timothy Taylor's Landlord / Black Sheep), and excellent food....they've kept the menu quite small, but do it really well....fish'n' chips was really good, as was the Linguini with chicken 👍👍
Absolutely fantastic. Great pub, setting, food and rooms...simply superb.
Karen and the whole team made our stay here welcoming and wonderfully tastey. Never before have I known black pudding to steal the show in a Full English Breakfast, but it was phenomenal (and the other items were not slouching - all locally sourced and quality products). The steak at dinner was beau

Lovely and 100% recommended. Quiet and welcoming atmosphere with great food and warming log fire. Perfect on a cold rainy evening.
Went for one night and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was good and the staff made us feel very welcome. Had the best g&t I've had in ages!
Beds are tall to climb into so may not be suitable for some people. They do provide a footstool! Beautiful location, however the menu is limited due to covid which is a shame as I picked the hotel for its food menu and was left disappointed with the options available. Breakfast however was really go
Lovely cosy room, food absolutely gorgeous, staff very friendly, we would definitely recommend a visit.
This was our first visit.... We lived in the village years ago and was eager to go back. The pub has had a total transformation and it an absolute little gem. The staff could have not done more... We sat in the cosy bar and had a fantastic meal with all locally sourced ingredients. The bar was full
