The staff is very polite.
I have tried out Chicken Ramen, Prawn ramen and prawn Yaki soba.
I felt that the chicken ramen bowl was not well balanced, chicken was a bit dry, but the broth was flavourful.
Yaki soba was good.
Overall it was a good experience.
One of the best Japanese cuisines I ever had.
I tried Pad thai, miso soup and chocolate fudge cake 😍👌🏻.
My first experience with Wagamama was great and I will definitely recommend it to all my friends 👍🏻.

I must begin by saying that Wagamama never lets you down. If you want fantastic food at reasonable prices, this is the place to go whenever you are travelling abroad.Great food in a good atmosphere and a very welcoming staff, what more does one want.I have always loved Wagamama! I first discovered it on my trip to Holland in 2011 and since then I have been a huge fan. Wagamama is always a great choice for Asian fast food, which surprisingly is healthier than other fast foods available and they offer you a wide variety of meal choices.
I know it's not authentic Asian food and the best part is that they never even claim to be authentic. If you want the real deal, travel to China. Until then, Wagamama fills in perfectly. The variety is simply great and an absolutely delicious fare on offer. The menu includes a bouquet of Japanese, Chinese and even Thai dishes done really really well in the Wagamama unique way.
Wagamama is ideal for a relaxed family meal out. I was recently in London and planning an evening out with friends and being a very busy Bank Holiday Monday the outlet at Richmond was packed and bustling with loads of people. This location is otherwise usually very busy, but I realized that that doesn't mean that the dining experience feels rushed.Even then our server got the food out quickly which tasted great as always. We had a great meal with some nice wine paired with the great dishes without having to wait long. Wagamama way of serving is that dishes come at different times, as and when they are ready which might seem awkward at times since you may have a plate full in front of you and your friends might still be looking at your face while you are tempted to start eating.
The staff is great. Service is top notch with a personal touch. The presentation of each dish was amazing. They have many ways to customize each dish. We had a delicious meal here and a very friendly server who recommended what we order and helped us choose our meal.Food was fresh and tasty.
I ordered the Chicken Katsu curry rice which was good and came in a generous portion too. I have had Katsu curry rice at Guppy by ai in India so I was sure this dish would be great and it certainly was. My husband had the tastiest beef Ramen Noodles ever. The portion was huge and 2 people could have easily eaten from his bowl. My friends ordered a portion each of Yasai Yaki Soba noodles and Yaki Udon which were great too.
In the end I want to make an honest confession we all ended up overeating! Wagamama is a great tried and tested place I recommend whenever you travel internationally and are not the one who experiments a lot with food.
What can you say?. Its good food but not great but always handy if your in a hurry for some good food.
The franchise concept is a simple East Asian menu, mainly japanese. So the food can be a bit bland compared to other regional variants. Your food comes at you when its ready and you share benches with others.
The food ok and service ok too. Enjoy it for what it is.
But I would challange the prices for what is on offer, should really be approx 20% less.
Well worth it if your passing.
Unique. Very social and informal venue, unique ordering system and the quality of the food is usually quite good. I do recomend being adveturous with the orders you might find a gem in amongst all those options. Not so great when you want to have a private dinner as you share tables with just about anyone.
Wagamama is a bit like ronseal. It does what it says onthe tin. Good cheap healthy nosh. Still don't understand the menu but opting for the random dish hasn't let me down so far. Green bean starter thing is good.
After going to a cheeky mid-afternoon movie The Mighty One and I were feeling a bit peckish. As we ambled up the high street debating about how hungry (or not) we were, we eventually decided to go to Wagamama’s.Wagamama is a restaurant chain offering fresh Japanese-inspired food in what promises to be a friendly, vibrant setting. There is a wide choice of dishes to choose from including Pad Thai, Itame, Ramen, Gyoza along with contemporary takes on other traditional dishes. The freshly squeezed juices are also a nice apperitif to start your meal with whether you’re health-conscious or just wanting to try something different. The restaurant was fairly empty so we were seated immediately. Service was prompt and efficient and our drinks arrived quickly. I settled on the chilli chicken with rice and noodles and TMO went for teriyaki chicken. Our mains were delicious, hot, freshly prepared and on my part anyway, did not last long. The chicken was moist and the vegetables were especially well cooked, crunchy and vibrant making for a very well presented plate indeed. Portion size is also very generous. One thing I am not keen on though is that the dishes come out as and when, so whilst I was tucking in my companion had rather a longer wait.As I don’t have a particularly sweet tooth it’s handy that TMO does. After looking through the dessert menu (of which ginger plays a predominant role) the passionfruit cheesecake was decided upon. It arrived quickly but unfortunately was not great. It had been plated up and kept in the fridge which was evident from the very cold plate. The problem with serving food this way is that the cheesecake had been sitting in the accompanying sauce for goodness knows how long therefore rendering the crunchy base to no more than a soggy mess. The sauce also had a skin on it and the cheesecake itself was not very sweet, in fact rather bland. We finished our meals and although there was a growing queue down the stairs we were not hurried to vacate our table. It was a bit tricky to try and get the attention of waiting staff to pay our bill though. All in all it was a pleasant (albeit safe) choice for eating out and despite the dessert the main course makes it worthwhile. The only other thing that niggled me during our visit was that while TMO was lucky enough to be looking at my ‘ugly’ mug over dinner I unfortunately had a view of the ribbish bins in the open kitchen. Open kitchens are a great idea but PLEASE put the bins somewhere where they are not in view!
Really nice place to grab a quick bite!
Delicious food, really tasty. The portions are fair, the prices are good. It exceeded my expectations considering I received it pretty quickly.
The staff is super friendly and helpful, much better than in many places I've seen.
The atmosphere is more casual than in a restaurant but much cleaner than in a fast food place. For my purpose, it was perfect.
Would really recommend this place! Had a really good experience here!
Stopped in on a Wednesday early with my daughter for a casual dinner. Greeted and seated immediately. Attentive service throughout, great food (I recommend the hot katsu curry) and quick payment method via a QR code link.
Very welcoming staffs. Great service. Nice food. Nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.
The food is very good for a chain, the service was good but it was a bit like eating in a motorway service station. Also the chopstick they give you are rather short and the oval profile makes them hard to use. Excellent vegan choices though and for that I would visit again.
Very good Wagamama’s in the center of Richmond, close to the river and about a 5 minute walk from the train station. Slightly odd as the whole restaurant is upstairs on the first floor, but there are of course lifts for the disabled or elderly. Quite a decent sized restaurant with plenty of seating and was nice and quiet when I visited.
Food is of the same standard you would expect, no complains, staff very friendly and helpful and they still have the option to pay from your phone. Food comes very quick and is freshly prepared and prices are good…
Manager (Polish girl) is absolutely fab, a top host and incredibly lovely! This is a great spot, but have noticed their portions are smaller and that they use way less sauce on the dishes than other Wagamama's. To the point I always have to request additional sauce (for a charge). I have never had to do this at another branch, which is a great shame. Please stop being so stingy!
Quick service and good for my friend with an allergy. Friendly staff and enjoyed the food and drink.
The food was great as usual. Unfortunately there was some confusion with our order and I had finished my main before my partner received hers. Fortunately they comped one main and a dessert. Would happily return. Great vegan options.
Excellent service, fresh and delicious food. Highly recommended to have beef in buns and yaki udon, beef ramen. Needed to wait for a while in queue but it was worth it. Big thanks for the team who work there.
Yum! Staff lovely. Food hot and fresh. Just wish the lift was working
