We got married last weekend and used The Waterside as our party venue. We cannot emphasise how supportive the management and staff were. The manager especially made sure our day went without a hitch and they were all genuinely welcoming and friendly to us and our guests. We would really recommend the buffet menu, it is amazing and there was so much food to go round! No one went hungry! They have beautiful gardens for taking photos and entertaining your guests in the day. We had about 130 people in total and it catered for us all comfortably. We would definitely recommend The Waterside for a wedding and we would also use them for any other parties we arrange. Thank you so much to Conor and the team for a wonderful day!
Had an amazing evening celebrating birthdays with family- food was first class.. great service - waiter/bar person was hands on.. Manager/Govenor could not do enough for us - playing our favourite irish tunes - even did an irish dance for us !!! This was a midweek celebration - can't wait to return with all our family & friends- highly recommend ���
My son and daughter in law, Max & Victoria, were married at The Waterside Venue on a grey day in March…but this did not deter us from having a beautiful wedding! It may have been cold outside, but it was warm with love, fun and laughter inside!
Kevin and Conor are AWESOME!!! They were so hospitable, patient and kind…nothing was too much trouble from the start of planning the wedding till the end.
They made things very easy for us and went above and beyond…so accommodating and generous with their time and service which was faultless.
What lovely memories we have of the Waterside….made even better by the hosts!
The venue is gorgeous and very flexible to lots of ideas….the bride and groom were so happy as was all us family and friends!

So, being a wedding DJ, I was booked to do a wedding at the Waterside venue I was amazed at how beautiful it was inside and out.
After talking with Conor and Kevin during my down time who run the waterside, they explained that you get exclusive use of the venue for the day and can get married in the meadow or inside which was lovely and they have spaces for drinks canopies, a meal and thankfully a disco lol .
They clearly got Above & Beyond to make sure you have a great day and will work with you to ensure you have an amazing day.
They have a list of preferred suppliers who know the venue so am hoping to get on that list as I really loved how they looked after the happy couple.
I don’t think my pics do the venue justice so suggest you make contact and go for a visit to see for your self.

Conor and Kevin are great hosts, answering all questions promptly and being fantastic on the day of the wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and spacious, ample space for kids to explore and guests to not be on top of each other. It’s a real hidden gem and we’ve had so much positive feedback from friends and family.I would definitely recommend this venue.
The Waterside Venue is absolutely fantastic, and so are all the staff there, especially Kevin and Conor, who ensured our day was just as we wanted it. It's such a beautiful spot, with different spaces available to use happily whatever the weather (takes away a lot of worry with ever changing forecasts, which was hugely reassuring in the run up to our big day!). Kevin and Conor supported us with all our questions, and were so flexible and helpful with arrangements and adjustments, and ensured everything flowed smoothly on the day.
All of our guests loved the friendly atmosphere, and complimented us on our choice of venue.
Incredibly great value, and we are so glad that we chose to have our wedding party here, it truly was perfect!

Everything went smoothly thanks to the team and we had sooooo many compliments on the venue and staff. We had our wedding here in late September and all we can say is that it was incredible from start to finish!
Kevin and Conner were absolutely brilliant throughout the journey. They were always on hand to answer any queries that we had, accommodating when we requested extra parking spaces and were in complete control during the whole wedding.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning, so many of our friends commented on how good it was. It manages to mix the feel of an older pub at the front and a gorgeous meadow for the ceremony at the back. The bridge over the river adds to the aesthetic and the whole ceremony area is just beautiful.

The host and their family are amazing. They will feel like your own. Very experienced in handling a wedding and stress. The Venue is very versatile when it comes to weather changes. Beautiful nature recently upgraded. Very accessible car park. They do everything to make sure your wedding day runs smoothly. Very supportive and very well looked after. Couldn't have asked for anything more to fulfill our dream wedding.

I have to say a massive thank you on behalf of myself and my wife Ifigeneia, from the day we visited the venue, which I have to add we didn't arrange, we were welcomed with open arms and told have a look around, we have a wedding in an hou. We were shown absolute hospitality at every visit, from booking the venue, to all the visits to discuss the timings of the day, the food, the DJ. Truly the venue is absolutely amazing, not a single issue at all, the day was well managed by the team, and every guest complimented the venue and staff. The day was so magical and I couldn't recommend the venue enough. If you do want a venue who have proven success, run like clockwork and make sure everything is perfect, use this venue. I highly recommend using the services of food, florist and DJ. They work so well together and again thank you all for an amazing day we will never forget.
