A tip for the sake of your business: make it clear you are not taking cash payments. There was no notice anywhere and nor did the girl tell me it was card only. And take payment before you make the drink... the young girl today made my 2 drinks then when I told her I only had cash (and was happy to receive no change) she said she couldn’t do it. Fair enough. But incredibly stupid and wasteful.

Great place for a quick coffee or a pastry after a cycle ride or whenever you want. Opens early in several places. Staff are always lovely and have most varieties

Great location in Rickmansworth town centre. Hit or miss on whether your flat white is made properly but everything else is great

Usually great. Staff and coffee are 5 star. WiFi is really bad in ricky so a few of us has swapped to the other brand. Shame. Easy fix.

Not a great experience today. The place was really busy, and there were not enough staff on to keep the place sanitised (our table was dirty, there was an earring and a used mask dumped on the seating next to us) Only one toilet was open out of 3 - I fail to see the logic of this, and don’t think it meets the statutory requirement ratio of toilets to covers when the café is full Practically this also meant that you had to queue to wash your hands, and again, that one cubicle wasn’t being cleaned down as frequently as one would hope during a pandemic. Nero is still using single use and non recyclable cups for sitting in customers. This is really regrettable, and isn’t a H&S requirement. All cafes should be able to adequately sterilise eating and drinking vessels prior to the pandemic. Overall the sense I got was that the business has decided to use Covid to cut back on staffing, which in turn has a consequence of not providing a safe place to eat and drink. The café was at capacity today, and staff were busy trying to complete their tasks, but were stressed and up against it, whilst still being as lovely and friendly as usual.

A couple of my friends recommended to drink coffee in Nero. Unfortunately, I was frustrated by volume of coffee in the cup. I ordered large. It looks like small if you compare with other cafe shops. Fortunately taste of coffee was good.

This branch certainly does justice to the 'brand'. Spacious and comfortable setting with an unexpected interior, the decor an improvement on their standard 'look'. Again, the staff here seemed eager, proficient and on point. Same tried, tested and tweaked formula here, all comfortingly predictable, acceptably adequate...and reliably so.
