We are new vegetarians and ordered Tikka Masala Paneer Veg Passanda Mutter Paneer and of course Samosa. We ordered through Deliveroo. It arrived promptly and was really hot, looked amazing and tasted divine. Rich deep flavours and I can honestly say it was the best Indian takeaway Ive ever had.

Very good food was excellent, only thing I must say is the appearance from the out side and inside it don’t look great should do it up and make it look tidy and not like it’s been deserted for a long time.
I sent a friend there today and told him the food was fantastic and he walked inside and turned around and sent me a video and said he would not eat from there.
As a local I’m advising you to get the shop done up to scratch better for you and the locals

Takeaway from here is reliable and delicious. Loads of options for vegetarians!
It would be nice to get more than one poppadom in a portion but that’s a very minor thing.

Seduced by a menu through the door, we decided to give the Ganges a whirl.
We tried the lamb kabuli and chicken chettinad with bhaji, samosa and paratha. All absolutely delicious and arrived piping hot.
Our only quibble is that there is no information about allergens unless you phone up to enquire. It can be pretty disheartening to get excited about a dish, only to discover you can’t actually eat it. So many restaurants carry allergen guidance these days, so I’d urge the Ganges to consider adding guidance to their online menus as food allergies and intolerances are so common and such a feature would enable more customers to order with confidence and enjoy your amazing food!

Ordered a curry for the family tonight, quick delivery, came piping hot, portion sizes are magnificent for the value, curry’s are full of flavour and the meat was proper tender. I would recommend to anybody in the local area to order from here. I’ve tasted all the curry’s in lewes, Cafe Ganges is the best in Sussex!

Had a takeaway this weekend whilst passing by; the meat was the most succulent I have tasted for a takeaway and the curry was full of flavour. Quick and polite service, would recommend to anyone in the local area.

We just polished off the most delicious food this evening very fresh and piping hot!! The staff at Cafè Ganges are unbelievably welcoming and will give good recommendations if you can’t quite decide what you want to eat, or if you want to try something different. My young daughter (usually a fussy eater) loves a lot of things on the menu, it’s a real treat for her when we order a takeaway. Great vegetarian options as well.

I ordered a takeaway last night and it was truly lovely, tasty and arrived within an hour. Where I live it is difficult to get orders delivered but with Cafe Ganges there was no problem. The staff were well organised and I will certainly be ordering from there again.

Love a curry and tried a few in the Lewes area. This evening decided to order from Ganges and what can I say - what an amazing meal! Quite easily the best around at the moment. Will definitely be ordering again!! Thank you Jack et al!
