A lunch visit with friends, lovely pub, surprising big with lots of seating and dog friendly inside. The food was good and the service at the bar was very good, considering how busy they were. All the staff were friendly and eager to help. Car park was full but the car park just a few hundred metres away has a space. Highly recommend if you’re wanting a new forest pub lunch and nice walk.

Had a lovely meal at the Red Shoot today with friends and family. We went for our friend's birthday and the staff happily decorate the table for us with balloons etc that we dropped off the day before. Everyone was very happy with their choice of food. I highly recommend the pie. It was perfectly cooked and full of meat!! Outside you can chose to sit out with the horses or inside the fence so they can't come right up to you. 5* will be recommending to everyone and plan to try out the camp site next!!

We had a lovely visit to Red Shoot. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and our dog especially loved the treats he was given. We will definitely be back soon!
