What a beautiful, quaint and quirky experience. Sitting upstairs in the 'open history' of this building amongst the beams was a real talking point. The 'individual ' seating made for a very comfortable and relaxed environment.
The staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you. We didn't eat but what we saw other people eating, and enjoying, looked very nice.
I would recommend anyone to go here as it is an amazing place. Loved it! ❤️
Great place with superb home made food and cake with coffee to die for. What more could you ask for! Strongly recommend a visit if you haven’t been already.
Fantastic place for cyclists to stop for a cup of coffee and a snack, or a full on brunch.
Plenty of seats outside and 2 floors inside. There is a place to park bikes outside, too! Plenty of room all in all and no need to book in advance.
Wide selection of cakes, pastries, scones and sandwiches, salads, what have you. Absolutely everything was delicious, and I loved your porridge. Thanks a lot, will definitely be back!
Wonderful place for brunch! Just arrived from Canada. This was the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long flight. Charming atmosphere. Comfortable couches and air conditioning! Delicious avocado toast and passion fruit smoothie. Would 10/10 recommend for your visit to Ripley!
We have been coming here for brunch on and off for many years and it's always a treat. The coffee is always good and the food is always delicious. The service is always friendly and efficient. There is now much more outdoor seating but we still love the atmospheric upstairs room with the sofas (also worth noting that the upstairs has AC...).
Good food and prompt service , I thought reasonably priced for the area.
Sat outside so unable to give 5 stars for atmosphere, as road was busy.
I definitely would return.
The coffee was amazing! Without a doubt the best coffee I’ve had in the UK. Filtered correctly and they ask what strength. Had a bacon and sausage sandwich with pancakes and it was banging. Great location and great atmosphere with very polite and welcoming staff
Great places for food and drink. Veried coffee options! And the general feel of the place is calm. Gets a bit busy but very nice in summer when you can sit outside
Pinnocks, Pinnocks of glorious vintage
Fine China etiquette, classic tea linkage
To eco your warrior, get a cup Beany
With scrumptious caking so yummy not weany
Before you farewell it, discover upstairs ,
Take a quick peek up the apples and pears,
Where voices of yore vertebrating the ceiling
The rafters’ so cunning, the history’s revealing
You wonder, you breathe in, the Manor’s appealing
Gather friends, garner life strength, a heavenly healing!
Upcycle that Ripley rejuvenating feeling x
Excellent coffee with scone, clotted cream and jam. A perfect stop on a long bike ride.
Love this little gem of a great cafe.
Such lovely staff great, great service and food. Not suitable for disabled people for upstairs and always busy. ( no pics as I took some of friends). 😊
Really great place for lunch. Very good service. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. Just passing through so a great find. Thoroughly recommend.
