We stayed in Lower Hartshay in October. Our visit would not have been complete without a few visits to The George Inn. A very warm and friendly welcome. Sunday lunch is spot on. Also worth knowing that dogs are more than welcome inside the pub, apart from dining times. Which I feel is totally acceptable. However there is a garden area where you can eat your food with you're four legged friends. Which was ideal for us. Can't wait to go back

Great food and drink. They fit us in on a Sunday at very short notice. We didn't expect to get in for a Sunday dinner but we were very well looked after and accomodated. Thank you. Would definitely recommend
