We stayed in Lower Hartshay in October. Our visit would not have been complete without a few visits to The George Inn. A very warm and friendly welcome. Sunday lunch is spot on. Also worth knowing that dogs are more than welcome inside the pub, apart from dining times. Which I feel is totally accept
A fabulous Sunday carvery served in a proper English pub. Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The staff were very friendly. I can't fault this place at all!
Great food and drink. They fit us in on a Sunday at very short notice. We didn't expect to get in for a Sunday dinner but we were very well looked after and accomodated. Thank you. Would definitely recommend

Thanks The George Inn is my local. It is the best it could be. Friendly, welcoming, a good place to meet and get to know others, eat well cooked food in a relaxed atmosphere, feel at home etc. etc. Many thanks to Phil and Lynn.
