The best fish and chips for miles. I travel from Leeds to eat here. Friendly staff, quirky place, but most of all great food at very reasonable price.

Day out to Fountain Abbey, found this place by chance.
Best Fish & Chips and proper mushy peas. Would highly recommend a visit. Staff very helpful and friendly. Perfect end to a lovely day out.

Proper traditional chip shop. Fish cake, chips, peas, bread and butter and a cup of tea for under a fiver. Super.

It was a nice experience. Nice and friendly people although the place wasn't warm enough but they did give us a warm welcome.

Lovely fish and chips, nice range of sizes from a small, lighter bite meal through to a huge fish. Good portion size, eating area huge albeit a bit dated but charming nevertheless. When in the area its a no-brainer. Last time we went in February 2018 it was open all afternoon.
