The room was large comfortable but a little tired. There was some dust on some surfaces which in this time of covid is surprising. Felt happier after I went around the room with antibacterial wipes. Cleaning all switches and handles. Tea and coffee making facilities as well as biscuits and a couple of bottles of water which was a nice touch. The staff were very nice and helpful. If your not good with stairs this is not the hotel for you. We were on the 3rd floor and the stairs are very steep. Some guests not adhering with wearing face masks in hotel corridors as required and people standing at the hotel entrance smoking and vaping which again is not what you want to have to walk through to gain entry. Food in the pub downstairs was of a good standard.

The room was quite affordable, but clean and large enough. Two bottles of water in the room for free. The staff was kind and helpful.

As a removal man, I'm all over the country. I've visited many wetherspoons in the UK & Ireland. The staff are so friendly & accommodating in Ripon. Even during this horrible time, they still take the time to make you feel welcome & comfortable. 👍

Nice hotel rooms, well presented, water was a bit slow to heat up but beds were comfy and breakfast was brilliant value for money.

Very run down and unclean. Dust and cobwebs all over the room and bathroom. To say the room had been cleaned and sanitised was a joke. Very noisy through the night. Beds very uncomfortable. Would not stay at a Wetherspoon again!

Spent a lovely overnight stay at this pub, full of character & very popular. Staff very helpful & hardworking in these difficult times. The only thing was the wifi connection dipping in & out & trying to order, took us several attempts.

Reception staff were fantastic. Parking at park of hotel was cheap. Quiet hotel sleep wise. Water was cold every day thats my only moan.
