Great place doing great work with people facing challenges in life. The cafe was great as was the shop. Spending money here means supporting a great cause and is a good experience into the bargain.

Pleasant garden. It was used as a special charity day with various stalls, children's games, plant sales, display of owls and a good cafe. It was dog friendly and had a nice picnic area. Parking nearby.

First trip to the cafe and enjoyed our sandwiches and salad. I maybe recommend the kids sandwiches coming with veg sticks/tomatoes instead of lettuce and coleslaw. My son loves the playhouse and toy lawnmowers. The garden has such a lovely atmosphere and still a lot of colour.

A charity run walled garden area near Ripon with lots of apple and pear trees and a lovely new cafe area. This is a place where young adults and adults with learning difficulties attend to learn new skills and meet up. Run by a team of wonderful staff and volunteers. They also have plants for sale and bottles of apple juice from their own trees. They run events throughout the year open to the public. Lovely little place.

Had lunch here with a friend and enjoyed a simple but satisfying meal in a newly built, large space, shared with a gift shop. The grounds include walking trails and a garden centre. The place is due to be opened formally in a couple of weeks but is accessible now.

I had a meeting that used the Walled Garden as the venue. It is amazing that so much has been achieved over the last couple of years since my last visit. Lovely place to visit. Certainly one of Ripon best kept secrets.

Spent a relaxing hour walking around the gardens and then having a coffee. Lovely, peaceful place that has developed a lot since we were last there and is continuing to develop - great to see that. Was made to feel very welcome. Thank you so much. 😊 10/10 for the delicious flapjack. 👌

The Ripon Walled Garden was a small piece of paradise when we visited during the Easter school break. There is a free car park by the entrance and once inside you are greeted by a small shop with refreshments and locally produced jams and chutneys. There is outdoor seating and a great play area for younger children. The gardens, woodland walk and orchard are flat with paved paths where possible. It felt very safe for two eight year olds to explore independently. Everyone we met greeted us with a smile and couldn't have been more helpful. Especially with the Easter trail that was running. We will definitely be return visitors and are looking forward to their new cafe that is planned for later in the year.
