A day visit to Ripon, came across this little cafe nestled in a back street, a stone's throw from the cathedral.
Ordered two Yorkshire breakfast and a pot of tea for two.
Very friendly service, nothing too much trouble, lovely cosy little restaurant.
The food arrived quickly and was SO good, lovely quality, we thoroughly enjoyed it.
Pot of tea was huge, plus an extra of boiled water for top up and the offer of more if needed!
Luckily they also have customer toilets 😁
Can definitely recommend, they have a good and varied menu and even allow dogs.

Great little cafe. Just what I needed at 9am on a Sunday morning after a few hours on the bike.
Menu had a good range also with lots of vegan and GF options.
Will definitely visit again and I recommend you do too.

This is a lovely coffee shop. The staff are super friendly and the menu quite varied.
We only had cake and coffee, but the meals did look nice. I didn't think the coffee was that good, but I've had much worse.

Ate here this morning, my husband had the breakfast and I had toast, he said it was lovely, coffee and tea good too, lovely friendly service aswell, would recommend.

The best piece of cake I’ve had in months. A nice cup of tea as well, complete with a pot of extra hot water. The Server was lovely. There is hand sanitizer and wipes on every table if needed.

A lovely cafe with a great atmosphere.
It seems popular with locals which is always a good sign and it was fairly busy even though it was a Monday morning.
Most of the food is homemade and tastes great and prices are very reasonable.
There's a good selection of food and drinks and vegans are well catered for, they even have vegan ice cream. Good kids menu too.
The staff were friendly and welcoming and the service was quite fast.
I love the decor! I'll definitely go there again next time I'm in Ripon.

Stopped off in Ripon on our way from York back home in the lakes. Had a wander around and came across Wilfrids Cafe. Wasn't disappointed. Warm greeting from lovely young waitress. Cafe was empty when we sat down but soon others followed our lead and came in. Compact but lovely menu with some specials. Food all freshly cooked. We had the homade pies. One steak and ale and the other chicken and wild mushroom. Plentiful plates together with a lovely jug of gravy on the side. Will definitely return when we go back to Ripon. Highly recommend.

Coronation Sunday afternoon managed to bag a seat, this is my first visit to this cafe after reading great reviews.
Tea and a caffeter which you don't at lot of cafes.
Fruit scone with jam & cream which was ok had better.
Friendly service reasonable priced,
Deffinatly recommend if your in Ripon.

Lovely friendly and attentive service. Our drinks and food were nice. Personally would have preferred thin fries and more of a leaf salad with my food but that’s just preference. Lovely warm and friendly place to visit and nothing seems to much effort for them to help. Nicely located on the side street too
