A very unmemorably-named cafe/tea room with a fairly simple menu. But the food was very tasty and freshly made, generous portions, good value, and super friendly service. Plus there's a nice view of the rustic city centre if you get a window seat. What more could you ask for?

what a wonderful find, the food out of this world, i had quiche with all the trimmings so tasty, hubby had ham salad now the only problem i had is they dont sell the ham that they cook lol id of bought some for sure, the ladies so so polite we finished off with i know we shouldn't lemon and blueberry cake delish, thumbs up to the chief , if we ever get back i will surly be calling in , well done to a great little café

Stumbled across this lovely Tearoom while walking around Ripon. We ordered the soup and sandwich combo - delicious homemade tomato soup and fresh sandwiches! Really friendly staff, people constantly coming in to ask for a table which is a good sign. Nice location a few seconds from the Cathedral. Next time we would definitely have a scone or cake as the selection looked great.

We absolutely love this place & cannot recommend it enough! This is the second time we have visited with our young puppy & again she behaved so well. The food here is impeccable, the service is second to none, staff are professional & friendly. If I could review this time & time & time again then I would! One of the many things we love about Ripon, this place comes out at the top!!! We really do love the breakfast here (actually we have loved everything we have had here every single time, the pies are something else - yummy, yummy)... how chef Colin gets the eggs so perfect is beyond me, they are never under or over cooked - you are the eggspert for sure! All freshly cooked to order, just brilliant.

Just had morning scone and tea at this delightful place. My partner and I were transfixed. The scones were DEEELISH, and the staff were extremely polite, smiley and approachable. There is a fantastic menu - ranging from cooked breakfasts to cakes - and the prices are very fair. We have lived in Ripon for 2 years and never been to Yorkshire Tea Room before, but we shall be going there frequently now. 10 out of 10 :)

What a cosy treat.
Stopped on a cycle ride for brunch. Food was excellent, great value with lovely service from friendly people.
Right in the heart of Ripon & just round the corner from the Cathedral, perfect.
Definitely recommend & we will return.

I'm so glad we found this wonderful place today!
The food was all baked and cooked by the friendliest of staff. We had afternoon tea. The sandwiches were exquisite and the home made almond and cherry scones were one of the best I've ever eaten!!. We had our cakes boxed up and have the joy of tasting them later.
You will not be disappointed with the food or the friendliest staff I've met.

What a wonderful tea room this is we have motorbikes and do a 150 mile round trip just for their fantastic BLT. And Tuna Melt. And his salad dressing. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Even if they are busy and no tables they will give you an estimated time when one will be free and even save it for you xx

The friendliest, most joyful cafe you could ever wish to stumble across. Delicious food, and even more delicious cake!! The perfect stop after a lovely mooch around Ripon Revivals across the street.
