Fantastic food we had the all you can eat buffet, each course prepared freshly to order swiftly served and swiftly eaten yes the decor is a little tired but the food more than makes up for it highly recommended

Have tried every Chinese that deliver to Risca and Golden dragon is by far the best, tasty, plentiful always warm always a friendly driver and on the phone. The hot and sour soup is incredible if you haven’t tried it you must! Cures a bad tummy cures a stuffy nose, I’m sure the amount I have eaten in the past 3 years has prevented Covid ❤️❤️We love you golden dragon
I like my takeaway food and have to say being from Newport originally I probably tried every Chinese and Indian takeaway there was in Newport, I've used this Chinese takeaway many times and I've never been let down, the food is always fresh, hot and very tasty and best of all it's up the end of my road, if it wasn't good I would go elsewhere as there are quite a few within driving distance that also deliver. I would definitely recommend this takeaway.
Lovely little restaurant. We were a booking of 7. The all you can eat was absolute value for money for me. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff are extremely welcoming and helpful. I would recommend eating here.
Food is amazing and always hot on delivery, staff are super friendly and polite, we've be customers for 3 yrs and have never had a bad delivery, also recently we've had a bereavement and the staff have been so sweet and supportive, honestly made this few wks bearable, thank you all at golden dragon
A small family restaurant with a very hard working team. Although they work flat out they still find time to be calm and relaxed with customers. We never felt under pressure at anytime. Buffets are our preference and although they have a buffet menu every item is prepared in house and cooked to order so don't expect a fast food experience. Instead we enjoyed a very relaxed meal ordering items when the previous had been eaten. Simple straightforward menu but very tasty. The pancake roll was top rank as was the hot and sour soup and black peppered chicken. We will be regular customers from now oñ.
This is a take away and eat in venue. You get free rice with the takeaway curry which is a saving. The meals in the restaurant are inexpensive. The most annoying thing here is that the price you are charged for a takeaway very rarely matches the price on the menu. You always end up paying more.
Only visited on weekends for all you can eat food. Don't roll your eyes, they cook to order. Not the usual metal buckets of unloved slop, with the shredded duck always empty. Just take a jumper in the depth of winter, as early settings can be cool.
