Fantastic lunch at The Brambles yesterday. The staff were amazing and managed to accommodate our party (four adults, one child and three dogs!).
The food was excellent and also good value for the quality, atmosphere and the fact you're in such a tourist hot-spot!

The best little Bistro in the bay.
We went here on the Bank Holiday weekend with friends. It was a special occasion as we were celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. We were served by Hollie, who was courteous, professional but witty with it. We had Calamari and Burrata starters, followed by Chateaubriand for both couples. The timing for food coming out was good, attention to our tables needs was well managed. All of the food was excellent and the prices for such quality, very reasonable. We thought we were done after the mains, but Hollie, with her humour, still managed to talk us into a couple of New York cheesecakes, which were ever bit as tasty as the rest of the food. Thank you to the team at Brambles, thank you Hollie.

Great burgers & steaks. We later decided we wanted to share a large serving of nachos, so the kitchen rushed it through to arrive with our mains. Dog friendly place - most tables had the family pets sat quietly underneath waiting for dropped steaks!

We had a perfect Friday night in Brambles and couldn’t have been happier with the food, wine and service. Since it was sharing night we indulged in a divine baked Camembert to start and then opted for the Chateaubriand with a Diane and a red wine sauce. It was cooked to perfection and the tastiest steak I can remember, even better than some I’ve had in Paris. The delicious onion bread has to be tasted as it’s hard to describe. Wine was fantastic and we even squeezed in a dessert, both fantastic. The whole meal was such good value and worth every penny, especially given the prompt and super friendly service. Hope to go back one day!

Called in a few weeks ago without a booking and they manager to squeeze us in for a quick tea. I have to say it was the best scampi I have ever had and a lovely light crisp batter. My husband had a steak and he said it was wonderful. The staff were absolutely lovely too. I hope to go back again soon and would highly recommend.

Family short break on the coast for Xmas/ New Year. We were a group of 6. 4 adults and 2 young lads. Nice menu with plenty of choice. Good sized portions. The signature burger is marvellous. It comes with slow cooked pulled beef and sliced steak on top of the actual beef burger!
It’s a very small “ intimate” venue with a lovely atmosphere.
Service was swift and efficient despite the place being completely full. Very pleasant staff.
Wide selection of drinks including draft ale and various wines.
Very positive experience. Would definitely go again.
You need to book. It’s popular and busy.
