What a little gem of a pub the new landlords have turned this place into. Great place for food and drink. Food is first class in quality and presentation. Best fish and chips I can remember. A local pub so will be returning many times especially for Dale pre match drinks.

The Star Inn is our new favourite place for food. It beats our old place in quality and value.
Word of advice... don’t try and beat the Sunday roast. It will beat you!! I’ve only managed to finish it all once.
I keep saying I’ll try something different off the menu but I’m always drawn to the roast.
Definitely family friendly. I’ve been in with my parents and the children in the family. There’s something on the menu to suit all tastes and ages, in a relaxed and peaceful environment.
Hygiene gets top marks too, which is a bit of an OCD thing of mine.
I visit the pub and restaurant more now since new management has taken over. Just shows what a difference a professional approach to running a business has. Weld done to Alex and Jay, as well as Sam Smiths for turning this little gem into what it is today.

What can I say? Such an amazing pub, it's so warm and welcoming. The landlords are second to none, nothing is too much trouble for them. Extremely clean environment and they've just started serving food, what a brilliant added extra! I'll be visiting again and again. Keep up the great work Jay, Alex and team 👍🏻
