Went here on a Tuesday night after arriving in Roche for a short break. Wasn't expecting much given that it was a Tuesday, couldn't have been more wrong - a good sized portion of fresh cod, amazing thick crunchy chips, really delicious food. In fact they were so good that I had them three nights out of the five that I was there! Staff were very friendly too, just a great find overall.
Reasonably priced and good size portions. The batter on the fish was a little too greasy but overall a very nice takeaway meal.
Have not been in shop for about two years but went in today ordered hake and chips twice well I can only say it was the best fish and chips I have ever eaten the fryer is first class and the rest of the staff...More

I feel lucky to have such a high-quality chippy down the road from where I live. Lovely chips, fish is always fresh, batter is just right. Also, the way they organised things during Covid was so kind. Highly recommended.
The best fish and chips we have ever eaten, unbelievably good. The fish was so fresh and succulent and the chips fresh hot and delcious. I would consider driving from dorset just to taste them again!

Lovely! Best fish and chips i've had in decades. I came down to cornwall for a long weekend and wanted a nice fish and chip dinner. This was the best, how fish and chips used to be. The batter on the cod was lush and crisp and the fish was so fresh. The chips were amazing ; made from proper potatoes and cooked to perfection. I'm from london and the chips taste sweet made from cheap potatoes and the fish is slimy. This is how fish and chips is supposed to be!
