I love the cakes so much I had my wedding cake made by them. They are amazing and i love their humour. I have literally dragged friends out of other well known coffee shops and taken them to Bruno's. I would recommend Bruno's for anything, more so if they bring back their poached eggs, salmon and cream cheese at lunch time, honestly the best on the high street.
Awesome cakes awesome coffee! Welcoming and friendly. Decor is inspired, unusual, cute mini courtyard plus gorgeous little garden to sit in out at the back. Regular specials taster weeks and baking/ activity days for those wanting to join in. My fave place to be!
A great little cake and coffee shop. You can sit in or take away. The coffee is really good and the cakes and bakes are delicious hand made on site. I have not had any bread here but I've been told that you can arrange to have bread and cakes baked to order by the master baker.
The coffee is so good I didn't even have sugar! And the cake was that amazing I ate three diffrent kinds, i even took one home. Bruno and Rick are really friendly and make you feel right at home. One coffee easily turns into two. Five stars all day long.
I'm not local but both my sons are and have gifted me cake from Bruno's recently.
I've been absolutely stunned with the flavour and quality of Bruno's creations, (variations I am told, are innumerable)!
We enjoyed small bites of different cake earlier today and they were all delicious.
My advice would be to call in for coffee and cake st Bruno's. Truly manifique!
Having lived in France for seven years, I know good cakes and I can honestly say I think Bruno's are the best I've ever tasted. Coupled with lovely service and inviting premises, Bruno's is my favourite place to meet friends, or just escape to read my book in relaxing surroundings.
Amazing cakes and secret seating around the back which is very cosy and intimate downstairs and more spacious upstairs. Coffee was on a par with Costa. Staff friendly and chatty. Great place to come and read a book over coffee and cake.
This has become my favourite little coffee shop in the Rochester/Chatham area. All of the cakes are made fresh, and are utterly astounding. The coffee is the finest available in Rochester. Highly, highly recommended.
What can I say. When my husband asked me to marry him instead of saying yes I said if Bruno does the cake. I visit too much for my bank balance, but would be more if I didn't have a kid who adores Rick (god knows why, he's a weirdo from eerie. love you rick big cuddles). On a serious note, this small business is the heart of the community that goes there yes community because it's not all business have nice day false customer bs. They know what to do make amazing cakes and coffees and they do it f-ing well. Try the Elvis, one of Bruno special French/American cakes. Chill out in an independent coffee house. I love it and love them so will you.
The most divine cakes, all made lovingly by Bruno himself. The premises are rustic and sadly no toilets available for the use of patrons. But don't let that put you off!
