Got stuff from here say 20 times via delivery . On a good day was best fish and chips and battered sausage Iv ever eaten. But chip portions vary by 40% and large fish sizes also vary by 40% . The last large cod I got it looked like they’d cut it in half and then trimmed off both ends . ( it was the equivalent of other shops small size ) . Quality thou both fish and battered sausage very nice . Chip quality not 100% same around 20% of the time you could take they’d bin in the warmer a while . But this place is still one of the best chip shops around just sad fish portions are poppy . Oh and I’m a 12 stone 6ft man I don’t normally moan about portions

Always good service and always freshly cooked. Sometimes takes a minute but best chip shop around in my opinion. The owner/staff are always friendly and nice too.

Having got a craving for fish & chips on our day trip from London (with the riverside, castle and the olde worlde high street it felt almost like the seaside!), we Googled for the best local chippy and were very pleased to find these lovely, super-friendly people (it seems to be family run too). They were very happy to chat with us about Rochester, cooked the food fresh, and were able to do cod without batter for my gluten-free friend. Super-tasty food served with a smile, I'll be straight back here on my next visit! 😋

Everything is cooked fresh - what a delight! Good quality fish and a plentiful serving of hot chips, straight from the pan. And the fish bar is open all day, so if you've missed lunch and feel famished in the afternoon - no problem! This is the only chippy I use, because it's the best!

The best fish n' chips we have eaten for a long time. Cooked freshly to order, a large portion , wrapped in paper ( recyclable) , totally delicious and most important still 'red' hot when opened 15 minutes later. Whether you live locally or like us are visiting Rochester this has to be the place to go for a chippy supper.
