Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in staff are smiling and they greeted us on arrival, beer garden had the sun beaming on it which made the cold pint more enjoyable!!

Come to the tollgate for a few drinks the atmosphere was amazing,the staff were so friendly and welcoming would recommend to anyone who wants a chilled evening

I always use this pub as a stop off when I wait for my dog to be groomed next door. I usually have a meal and soft drink. Food is lovely and reasonably priced. Staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful.

Plesent place to be and wonderful food and if your passing by or even just looking for something to quench your therst in this hot weather or fill that empty spot of hunger then pop in its worth it

Tried both the Breakfast & Daytime Menu (All together 9/10), the food is lovely, decent portion sizes for the most part & the price isn't too bad.
28/05/2023 - After trying the breakfast menu the other day thought I'd try the daytime menu, starters were a decent portion size for the price & tasted quite nice (Cool Original Nachos, Salt & Pepper Mushrooms & Onions Rings) also got Cheesy Garlic Bread but that was just okay... for the mains the Gammon Steak was 10/10, Fish & Chips 7/10 would easily be a 10 if it had more chips... the Hot Dog however 3/10 the size of it for the price is a big no, the microwave hot dogs you get for £2.49 in the shops are bigger & you get 2 of them, I will say the hot dog did taste very nice but can't justify spending nearly £10 on it... £7 or Under would be perfect... overall I'd give 7/10 I do think I prefer the breakfast menu.
26/05/2023 - Breakfast stuff was very nice & for a decent price for the portion size too, highly recommend Bacon and Maple Waffles & The Big Breakfast.
