Mardyke Valley Golf Club Dining

First time playing the course, greens are the best we have played on, even after lots of rain over the week. Fairways in very good condition. Worth the visit for the challenge of the potential card wrecker 8th hole green over water (luckily escaped without penalty). Staff were very nice, food was nice. Look forward to going again.

I've been playing here for a few years now, a nice friendly atmosphere, and the course is fairly flat and always in good condition. My only gripe is the timed booking platform they use to book tee times. 3 minutes just isn't long enough to enter all the names and then the card details when booking a 4 ball, I managed to do it with about 20 seconds remaining. The last time I booked it timed out just before the payment went through so I had to do it all over again only to find that the first one had been accepted and I had now booked 2 tee times. It's a nightmare!! Surely it should be at least 5 minutes, that would give plenty of time for old boys like me to type in all the details.

A relatively new course in golf course terms but still has plenty of character . Bragging it’s own amen corner in the 6th 7th 8th rumour has it sets of clubs lie sunk in the lake before the 8th green thrown in by completely destroyed once proud men . The par 5 14th is another stand out hole for beauty and test with its near 45 degree sideways sloping fairway . Give it a go , you won’t regret it

Played here as a guest and was made to feel very welcome. The course was very dry due to the recent hot weather but the greens were in excellent condition. The front nine holes seemed quite easy, but the back nine was more challenging and required more accuracy off the tee. Good clubhouse with friendly staff.
